Well dark ling for your resource reward problem i suggest setting it on say a marine
and spawn a marine for yourself and player 15 and see if you get minerals for killing player 15's marines
if this isnt working for you make sure your modifying the correct units data
Depending on the view you have set you will notice alot of units have more then one unit entry depending on what Dependancies your map has set up.
Also when making changes to data, after you make your change click to view a different units data then click back to the one your modifing and verify that your changes took hold.
After setting KillResource you should see +1 over units head showing thatyour getting money or stuff from killing them.
So far I create a new ,unit, and actor, and base the new object off of the originals that im trying to make them look like
Then I go through the raw data and correct the links to all the components such as sounds.
I dont use the duplicate function because after I duplicate an object if I change the objects name it breaks all the links on it .
sounds like you need to create or modify the morph abillity itself.
maybe add command cards to the builds for the morphing as well.. along with any of the tech requirements for building some of thsoe buildings
try making a barracks that can morph into a pylon or something for starters
Since it sounds like you learned quite a bit about the upgrade system why not just create your own Upgrades. It does not sound like your map is going to be using mellee type of play ..... so instead of offering the two lines of upgrades..... just make your own upgrades and do it with out all the triggering.

I did make an adjustment to my example at the top .... In the example I was giving the kill score to the owner of the dying unit... take a look now and tell me if you actually understand what my example is doing......
The logic im using to track the score is extremely usefull for doing lots of other things and i really think you should try and grasp the concept
the value "triggering player" is under the functions list you have to pick it outta there
What I posted isnt literal code .... I dont use Raw GE i use their tool for adding events condition and actions.
The [] brackets indicate an array do you know how to use arrays?
Seriously saying dota anywhere around your map prolly isnt good for business. Dont get me wrong I loved dota. But nobody on here is gonna out do the creators of dota.

I think you should make a test map and do this with all standard Units
Ive had an amazing ammount of things not working correctly while duplicating anything.

So you can actually set the mouse wheel Zoom levels or something?
This sounds like it has some usefull functionality other then just disabling the mouse wheel changing views

I bleive you would use an actor message...
To actually turn the unit you would set its facing something with a unit action
To make the Turret turn maybe you could set its aquisition target (if that is possible) or there may be an actor message.

fog and lighting for map are global as far as i can tell
what exactly would you be using "get local player " for?
you can run things against
Pick each player in player group(active players) which will loop though all players that are playing.....
