Yeah, sometimes that happened with Blizzard's patch.

So, I finally got around to starting noir: automata, and on the first mission (prologue) the mobile command center (samus aran) has no options for building units. I saw in jayborino's playthrough what it's supposed to do, but none of the units show up in the panel for me. I tried hitting the S hotkey for SCV, as well as every other letter on the keyboard, but none of them would train a unit.

However, based on a random comment I saw somewhere, I went into the options and changed to 'simple command card' and that solved it! I'm guessing this is also what was causing most of the previous issues I mentioned with the Replicant campaign, so I'm gonna go back and try that as well.

Ah, I see it now. That's not so bad. I hardly noticed in the first one.

Minor visuals ones don't bother me at all. When they start changing the gameplay too much, it's a problem. Especially when I hit a mission that's suddenly much harder then previous ones, I get frustrated not knowing if it's something I am doing wrong, a design mistake or a bug causing it to not work the way it's intended. Like, if I can't solve a puzzle, I don't have a guarantee it's even solvable if the map is potentially not working anymore.

So, basically, there isn't anything I can do, short of hope the makers go back and update the maps? Was afraid that would be the case. It's a shame I wasn't playing SC2 a few years ago :-/  The actual campaign and co-op are the parts I enjoy the most, but was getting bored of running the same brutals all the time. The custom ones have been pretty great at scratching that campaign itch when they work out.

Appreciate the responses, but Edhriano, what time in the first video is the glitch you are referring to? I didn't notice anything in the first few minutes of the cinematic. They looked the same in both videos.

Also, your campaign was next on my list to check out. It was a tossup between Automatica and Antioch, but hearing Antioch was fully voice acted gave them a slight lead in my priority list :D

However, all these bugs/glitches have dampened by enthusiasm for checking out more campaigns. I hated getting invested in Replicant only to be unable to realistically play through the last episode due to the bug.

So, first off, I feel like I really missed out on the golden age of these custom campaigns (a year or two ago). I just came back to sc2 a few months ago, and only discovered these custom campaigns a few weeks ago. It seems like most of them haven't been updated in some time, which might be what is causing my issues.

I've played close to a dozen different campaigns now (CybrosX's Tal'darim and Purifier campaigns, Most of Annihilation, Replicant's first two episodes, and a few missions into Antioch remastered).

A few times now, I've had some issues that don't appear in jayborino/deltron's playthroughs, and cumulatively it's making me think there is something wrong on my end. For example, in Annhiliation one of the character's portraits and model is different. In Replicant Ep2, primal hives don't have the worker option show up, it's covered up by the 'click A to attack' panels, but you can still hit the correct hotkey (W) to spawn them. In ep3, the main hero's portrait is replaced by Nova. Also, basically the same thing as the hives in ep2 happens, except worse. The main hero's abilities don't show up at all. Again, it's covered up by normal unit panels and when I figured out the hotkey for the ability, it worked, but there was one of them I never found. It made the last episode unplayable as it was a crucial ability (crushing grip). In Antioch Remastered, a graphical glitch on the early dragoon hero, and now a mission where a lot more units are spawning then I've seen in playthroughs, making it practically impossible (for me, anyway, maybe some master level micro could beat it).

I will admit I know next to nothing about making custom maps, but my first thought is something happened with the base data the maps are referring to. I own every purchasable campaign from Blizzard (all 3 expansions and Nova missions) and I'm wondering if the nova missions are what is causing the problem? Does anyone have an idea what's causing these problems, and if so, is there a way *I* can fix it?
