    once you hit the reply button, at the bottom of the reply box it says " + Add Attachment"
    then you simply attach your map =D

    the only reason im suggesting you need to upload it is there has to be something wrong that your not catching, simply maken unites on the map for "play 1" and deleting the trigger, it would work 100% fine... so theres something else going on. Will be able to find out what in a super quick second with the map =)

    every custom map I ever played, they dont auto start... its only melee games that seem to auto start..

    Each time I re-open the editor, I have to first modify the dependencies so that I can then REMOVE them, just to readd them, even then it changes back all my graphics (though when you play, they look correct) it only does it on this map... NO idea whats going on, its really annoying thats for sure, no reply tho, gald to see im not the only one with the issue.

    its not that hard to duplicat at all... im horrible at the data editor myself, and the VERY VERY first thing I ever did in galaxy editor was add a 3rd beam to it attacks, just by copying whats alrady there...

    First copy the weapon and ALL the effects/actors, heres like a bunch per each beam...the trick is calling the "new name" in each effect and actor, let me see if i can find my old post on it, maybe itll help

    basically what I learned was this, when you duplicate the weapons, the effects/actors still target both the old effects and the old unit, so once you duplicat the weapon/effects...ect go to each of them , and simply make sure where ever you see "blah blah blah" make sure it now says "blah blah blah (duplicate) kinda thing. Also make sure at the top it now targets your new unit, and not the old one. (like it will)

    if this does not help you, ill be happy to do a step by step for you, doing so will help me relearn some of it anyway, so its a win/win. Its ashame I know so little about actors...ect as they are by far the most powerfull thing about this editor.

    Yes I know, obviously what im saying in my post is "over and above" I kinda figured that was obvious... I guess not =P
    But it still proves a point.. why arnt maps met with the same ESRB rating of that of the game?'

    or better yet, why cant "Online play is not rated" mark like most games... then they wont have to enforce this to this degree.

    You can have people killing eachother and boddy parts being split in half (ultralisk attack)

    ... this... needs some fixing.

    Better not use an xel naga cause you know, there the "gods" of zerg or protos... /sigh

    hey male i went ahead and found what your looking for... I take it you havnt beat the campaign yet =P

    open the editor, then select campaign, youll see a list of all missions, select the mission "TValrtian01.SC2Map"

    once you load that ma, open up the triggers, open the folder called "GAMEPLAY" from there, there is another folder under=====other==== called "Crashing structures" everything you need should be found in that trigger.. I havnt looked it over myself as im in a hurry but, this should get you well on the way

            Trigger - Turn (Current trigger) Off
            Actor - Create actor Char Crashing Barracks at point CrashBarracks01
            Variable - Set CrashBarracks01 = (Last created actor)
            Actor - Make CrashBarracks01 face (Random real between 135.0 and 225.0)
            Animation - Play Death animation for CrashBarracks01 as Default, using Non Looping options and Default Time blend time
            General - Wait 20.0 Game Time seconds
            Actor - Send message "Destroy" to actor CrashBarracks01
    

    is what they have.

    I would do as he second poster has said.... the third guy it maken things WAY to complicated for you. Simply go to the editor, open up the char map, and you can just copy and paste what you need.

    posted a message on [Bug] Dependencies

    ok, I just did a search on this, but cant seem to find another topic on this

    I made a new map, added the campaign option, and all is good, hav all the story unites, they are in the data editor, good to go!

    However, now every time I load my map, I have to go to dependencies, DELETE Liberty Story (Campaign) and Libery (Campaign) then readd them just to make the units show up in the data editor (and thus on the map) BUT THEN doing this, resets the changed graphics I did in the ditor (they are still changed in map, but not in the editor) until i save and re-open the map (without cosing the editor....whats going on?

    im not one for bumping old posts... but if you notice above, changing the model worked for me, and others, I even did a pick and uploaded the map... however I went back today, to make minerals in the shape of "Space Platform rock formation" and for the life of me... it wont change. Even loaded the map I did for sytem, and..it not longer works for me, which means it was all chanced in a patch, How (in the actor for it) do I go about changing the graphic?

    edit: seems i got it to work, changed some random thing in the actor till it finaly switched the graphic.. I hate not understanding actors yet.. but at least i got the job done.

    or make new map, and select campaign from the drop down list

    On the Third mission "zero hour" if you go to the top center (inbetween the two zerg bases) youll see a tauren marine ,when you walk up to him he walked into his "tauren outhouse" each time you click on the outhouse a countdown counts, after 3 clicks it laucnhes into the sky saying "secret found"

    I'm US too, and I'm pretty sure nothing weird happened to my install. Another weird thing I've noticed is that the preview window in my editor now shows units, structures, and doodads as white or black silhouettes. Wtf?

    Yeah thats an error, Post on the official beta forums. Update all your drivers, and give it a good re-install. see what happens.
