    Hi Guys,

    So I've been mucking around getting to learn the Editor and making an extension mod. I have run into a couple of difficulties however, namely:

    I have increased the model size for the Roach by about 1.5, however when it morphs into a Ravager, the Ravager is huge. I've tried decreasing the size of the Ravager to compensate but it hasn't changed. Anyone know how I can fix this?

    Apart from this I am trying to let the Ravager Morph back into a Roach... when I look at the Zerglings command card it has the button to morph to Baneling there, but Roaches and Hydralisks do not... (yet in game they do) I'm trying to edit this but having difficulty finding it.

    Could someone please help a beginner out? Thanks in advance.

    Just a quick question of, does anyone know how this is achieved? Is it difficult to do assuming I already have the spritesheets I need etc?

    If anyone could point me to a link with a tutorial or something it'd be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks guys for the replies. Good to know. I guess my question isn't so much "How can I get around the rules of Blizzard" its more of a "What are the rules" and "Why don't I see much diversity in the models used?" I see tonnes of mods for games like Skyrim that import models from other games all the time and I understand its harder to control that sort of stuff when you're not downloading from an official server but still.

    Hi guys,

    I was just wondering what is the consequence for uploading a map with copyrighted models from other games? Is there a consequence? I assume you're not allowed to do it because I haven't seen it before. I was randomly thinking of the possibility of making an Alien vs Predator map after I stumbled resources such as this:

    However I assume its not allowed because although I've seen many examples of models from games been imported into the SC2 engine for fun I've never seen an arcade game with any models from other games... Is there a technical issue that's stopping this, or does Blizzard intervene? What about free models made by people free to use?

    I'm pretty sure the space marine was from Dawn of War.. as for it being "not okay to use" surely its fine if I'm not uploading/distribiting etc... just testing for myself :)

    I know it's possible here's some examples of it happening:

    So how is this done? I know that you're not really supposed to due to copyright, but it's only going to be for my own personal use and wont be uploaded. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Sorry for the stupid question, but I'm trying to replace the spine crawler model with the Impaler colony from the HotS campaign but I cant seem to find it? (http://starcraft.wikia.com/wiki/Impaler_colony for those who don't know) I just started getting into this stuff so help is much appreciated. also sorry if this is the wrong place to be posting this.

    Hello all! I used to spend a lot of time playing around with the old WC3 map editor, but ever since release I've been rather intimidated by the SC2 map editor... Its quite different. Anyways after a few years I figure I might give it a proper go now that I have HotS, and I'd like to try create a project similar to the likes of Starbow or One Goal that I've been thinking of since as long as I can remember (simply for my own satisfaction).. The only thing is I don't really have a name for it... I'd be really keen for suggestions, I really want to try and involve myself in the community too and hopefully make some friends along the way. :)

    So hello all! Nice to meet you, I'd love to hear your suggestions below if you have any... I'm terrible with naming things :(
