I figured it out.
In the unit's actor, change this:
<On Terms="WeaponStop.*.AttackStop" Send="AnimBracketStop Attack"/>
to
Event:
Animation Done
Term: Animation name: attack
Send="AnimBracketStop Attack"
I'm not in front of the editor right now so I don't have the exact code.
I have made a hero using an imported model who attacks with a sword. However the animation for the attack only plays correctly if the target doesn't die right away. Meaning If the hero 1 shots the target, he appears to twitch instead of swing since the attack animation seems to stop as soon as the target is dead before the player can even see it happened, which looks awkward. Ideally I'd like to have it so it finishes the current swing even if the weapon is no longer being used.
I've recently been having an issue with with my arcade maps where 1 moment the lobby will be displayed on the open games list, and the next it won't be. However anyone who is still in the lobby including me remains in there, Thus the title "vanishing arcade lobbies". As you can imagine this makes getting enough players for any map that's not super popluar even harder. This glitch is somewhat random but its happened to me 6 times in 1 weekend.
However blizzard won't listen to an arcade issue unless a lot of people complain about it so if this has happened to you before, please report it here so blizzard notices and fixes it:
The maps I'm using load and play just fine as they have in the past and I can confirm that this is a relatively recent glitch.
I'm aware this is the "wrong" section to post this thread, but I didn't see a "right" section anywhere so I thought it would reach the most people who need to read it here.
The real issue is that blizzard said when I talked to them that they aren't getting enough reports of this bug to think its a server side issue and thus try to fix it. Therefore everyone who's had this problem should submit a support ticket about it so they take responsibility for the error.
I just want to make sure your not the guy named blackace who tried to steal my map 5 minutes ago. I just logged onto sc2, if you can prove your statement, your on!
Rules:
1. First come, first served. Whoever I accept first gets the fist shot at the prize. I will send them the files I want published and if they don't succeed I'll go onto the next person.
2. The content I send you must not be altered in any way before its published, except for adding missing dependencies or anything else that I tell you to add/change.
3. You MUST be able to publish the requested content without error: for example, if people can't join the game lobby (as determined by my testing) then your prize is void. If you have successfully published and then played a map as a public game without error in the past 2 days, you should be fine.
edit:
4. Heart of the swarm is required
edit2:
5. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO PUBLISH WITHOUT ERROR!Repeated for emphasis, see rule 3 for details.
At 87% of the transmitting archive step, I get "there was a temporary error with your request, please try again later". 5-7 attempts spread out over several hours later, its still happening Also, I've been trying to submit support tickets about this for the last 7 hours and every attempt my browser has a connection error.
I'm not sure if this is your issue or not, but does your map use melee settings triggers? The "Set Melee options for all players" function (I think it was that one, its one of the triggers that a melee maps runs) disables xp gain but the xp gain can be re-enabled with "enable/disable melee option for player"
This is for an ability where the hero makes copies of them self that have timed life, and I don't want the timer giving away where the real one is if show health bars is turned on
This is done with the UI - Display countdown field it would seem
Currently, I have that field set to self,ally. However, when I watch replays of games the timer still shows up even when I have the perspective set to the opponent. Is this a replay thing or is my buff timer still showing to opponent when it shouldn't be?

sc2 = Starcraft 2
wc3 = Warcraft III
In that map, you could pick from any of sc2's races and wc3's races and even have them play against each other.
The description said something about "Warcraft III libraries by Rene"
One of the reviews mentioned Orc not having a lot of detection and thus being bad in certain match-ups
Does anyone know what this map is called?
I'm very sorry if this is in the wrong section.

If you've published a map in the last 2-4 days and tried to play it with other people you know what I mean.
For those who havn't, this is what I mean:

Is there a good way to have a summoned unit follow the caster of or the target of an ability? The closest I've come is following the closest ally.
