Thanks this worked. Just posting this because it was hard for me to find this additional information myself. I also found you can change start autocast repair on for all scvs by going into Data - effects - SCV repair - Flags. There is also a bunch of other settings that can help you when getting SCVS to auto repair.
I was trying to find a way to get the SCVs to move repair on the way. I went into the medivacs heal in effects - flags - and used the same settings for the SCVs. My scvs will now repair when patrolling or scan moving to a point.
