posted a message on Ultimate Multitasker DuskTowers

Here is a map that is made for hardcore sc2 players who want to get faster APM wise and multitasking wise. It's a training simulation that is meant to be like normal multiplayer games, but in a faster paced way. It's demanding and I find it very challenging. I wanted to take players out of their comfort zone so they would get used to playing more aggressively with their units -- dropping bases, scouting the map, controlling certain points all while doing normal things like producing units and upgrading.

I started it a long time ago and have been working on another project. It was close to being finished so I decided to just take the time to release it.
Here is a post back when I originally started it.

Here is a video showing one  of the training sessions

Give it a shot and post your high score xD

It's funny how much different this project is than what I've been working on lately. Maybe some people will enjoy this one.

I already have the other parts worked out. Just need to prevent the warpgated unit from being summoned when clicked

is there a way to prevent the warpgate from summoning a zealot when the zealot is on your cursor and you click --- basically how can you prevent the click from triggering the zealot warp in?

posted a message on Enable Auto Cast

Thanks this worked. Just posting this because it was hard for me to find this additional information myself.
I also found you can change start autocast repair on for all scvs by going into Data - effects - SCV repair - Flags. There is also a bunch of other settings that can help you when getting SCVS to auto repair.

I was trying to find a way to get the SCVs to move repair on the way. I went into the medivacs heal in effects - flags - and used the same settings for the SCVs. My scvs will now repair when patrolling or scan moving to a point.

How do you enable auto casting for a units ability in triggers?

For example how do you enable an auto casting ability like SCV repair?

posted a message on Change mouse cursor!

How can I change the mouse cursor during the game? I'd like to change it a few times.

I've been doing some research and people said it's possible by making a splash actor for an ability and then having that overlay the mouse cursor. How do you go about getting this ability to go off in the triggers and actually attaching to your mouse cursor. I can't find the right actions in the triggers.

I have no idea how to go about doing this. If there's another way by all means let me know!

Using the Triggers works for a few things. Mostly everything else has to be edited in the UI editor.

I used this tutorial in the link and matched it with the following resource

Hey I'm trying to clean up the UI by removing everything except for

    1) the Info Panel that shows your selected units/stats

    2) the resources

    3) the game menu

I'd also like like to make the info panel smaller, change it to a square and move it to the side

I'd also like to make the resources slightly bigger and move them as well

What's the easiest way to get this done? I've been having trouble finding a solution that doesn't require an entire UI rework.
