Im gone for a few days, I like to always come and check the WTE witch it the most active and most popular. Really surprise to see an episode from riding a bus or a train in India here. Lets picture this as Mozared as the diver and the passengers as the guys that made stupid comments and finally Wargirl as the girls that say stop this is not right. Well............Lets see Wargirl said something and she got gang rape with this comments and Mozared as the driver just say "WOW" and continue driving. Zolden just made this tread "not for pussies" Well very unprofessional and extremely gross handle by the moderator.
I was reading on we girls don't really make it in to the game industry very disturbing on what guys do to them so the girls just flat out quit. You guys are just bulling her and now I see this WTE has turn in to a JOKE because of that. Probably you just made the only girl contributor that gives and competes with the terrain big guns flat out quit. Maybe I don't know she is or was the only girl in the entire SC2Mapsters site. Bravo you all you bullies!
Pssssss...................................Mozared P. that's low!
Ok, this is the divine hill of the void on the Aiur. This sacred place contains the miracle of the void. The whole universe of starcraft as we know it exists because of this place.
I'm trying to install the blender m3 import plugin to use with heart of the swarm models. Does anybody have a version of this working at the moment? And if so, what version of blender and what add-on did you download?
So far the plugins just fail to show up, or if they do then the import option either doesn't appear or is greyed out. Tried 32 and 64 bit versions of Blender as well.
Gradius, if you got the time or interest, can you make a list that has the ones not available on SC2mapster for ScLegacy.
Do you know of any? I see literally nothing on NA battle.net worth posting that isn't already on mapster. Staredit, hiveworkship, I don't really see any campaigns there.
Initial thoughts:
- A squad sent to look for miners that have gone missing? You sir know how to start a campaign! ;)
- Loved the intro. Especially that camera effect at the end.
- Loving the hero retextures.
- 10 abilities and the needed 5 control groups right off the bat is way too much. I wouldn't necessarily get rid of them all as Eivindl suggests, but maybe start off with 3 or 4 and introduce new ones as the campaign goes along. This is a massive map though, so I guess we do need something to entertain us. :P
- The lore nut in me wonders what Ursadon are doing here.
- Objective list got quite a bit long there. Probably good idea to remove the completed ones.
- Like Eivindl, I also alt-tabbed to wait for my heroes to heal up.
- Really long mission, but overall good atmosphere and writing.
Yeah the first version was way too hard. Impossible to move out because you keep getting bombarded with an endless stream of banshees/tanks that you don't have the resources to defend on that one base alone. Would take a lot of playthroughs to beat if it's even possible. :p
Overall I like that the map makes you think about strategy however. I agree that the rocks are placed at tactical locations. Confused as to the function of the psi emitter though. Doesn't seem to have any effect on the game.
Hunger, war, lack of universal health care, an aging population to name a few.
Oh, mapping-wise? Probably the all-around lack of improvements to the editor that are spread years apart, little campaign support, the fact that it's hard for average people to get into, etc.

I wonder if there'd by any interest in a version of SC2 with higher resolution textures.

Needs some shrubbery.

Shit, if we're just giving them out, I'll take some mod powers too.

Awesome, thank you.

Hard drive failed and it turns out that all backups are corrupt. Looking at massive data loss...
For now the forum is back up at sclegacy.com/forums, but there's lots of bugs. =/

Why the recent obsession with dark Protoss? :P

I put it up.

For anybody who enjoys singleplayer maps with a story, here's a list of pretty much every map/campaign since SC2 was released:
http://sclegacy.com/forums/showthread.php?16088-StarCraft-2-Fan-Campaigns-amp-Scenarios-Listing&p=195078
A bit different than the CCI in that it lists almost everything out there, but in a different format. Will continue to update.

I love StarGate. Will this be for a campaign?
Chevron 7 locked! Wormhole to Aiur established. :P

This thread is moot. Instead of bitching I already made a retro edition with all the original sounds.
