    I have a weird issue with the attack waves. I do not use personality editor, as I create waves using triggers. So my setup is rather simple. I set up the target for the PLAYER_2 (which is PLAYER_1), and I set up a gathering point in PLAYER_2's base. I use AI Advanced - Add Attack Wave Unit Type to add units to the wave, and send the wave using the AI - Send Attack Wave. The attack wave forms perfectly, and attack the target. The problem that arises, however, is the following: In some attack waves, some units decide not to wait for the remaining, which result in wave splitting in two. For example, I send 5 Dragoons and 10 Zealots, and 2 Zealots and 1 Dragoon rush and attack, while the remaining units wait for each other and attack as a group. I have tried adding explicit points for path, but the result is still the same. I've also noticed that this isn't connected to units' speed, sometimes even slower units arrive first. Is there a way to force AI to keep the wave in one group?

    That might work - I'll test it. Another workaround is to make probe warp Warp Gate directly (I hide the button, so players won't see it)  - I tested it and it works. But I'm curious what is the difference between morphing a spire and morphing the gateway. Why does ai understands how to create Greater Spire from Spire but not Warp Gate from Gateway?

    Campaign AI won't rebuild destroyed warp gates. It has warp gate researched, it has enough resources, but it won't rebuild it. Same thing happens when I place Impaler den - it is like ai does not know that it has to build prerequisite building (gateway or hydra den). On the other hand, it rebuilds greater spire without any issue. I was wondering where should I look in data editor to modify this behavior. Of course, direct solution is also welcome :)

    Hello :)

     

    I like tinkering with sc2 maps and mods, for my own use only (I'm not good mapmaker). I have a question regarding the mods. I would like to extract soem units from coop mod (e.g. ALeksander infested battlecruiser) and use it in my own mod. Is there a tutorial that covers this kind of problem?
