I've played The Haunted Forest. I love it, but I'm going for something more traditional RTS-like. My fortes are terrain, gameplay and story, not fancy stuff like FPS.
Hey, guys! I haven't really posted here in a while. Been mostly playing HOTS instead of SC2, and I'm not making maps anymore. I probably won't be doing much of it in the near future either, since I'm going to be head editor for the school newspapers. Also, I'm starting my master's degree in economics.
Despite that, I thought it would be cool to make a make a map again at some point (a whole campaign might be too much work, sadly), and I thought it would be cool to do a horror-style RPG map where you start out in a base, and have to venture out at night into the wilderness to do... something. The main feature would be some sort of "pulse measurer", which basically tracks your pulse (or something). Engaging certain zones, fighting enemies, and taking damage would heighten your pulse, and if it goes to high, you die.
There would have to be cool backstory (of course), multiplayer options, different playable characters, several cool mission objectives, stealth mechanics, etc. Feel free to contribute ideas. All I have is what you see here, so as you can understand, it's pretty fresh.
I'm reuploading Amber Sun and Aureolin Eclipse. There was a bug with the nukes that's now been fixed by DudkiSC2 (thanks again, man).
Btw, though I don't play SC2 much anymore and don't do any mapmaking, I still lurk around here occasionally. I'm a bit busy with exams these days to make a comeback, though I'll try to play some of the awesome campaigns that seem to be popping up everywhere. Cheers!
I liked the DLC a lot, and will be looking forward to the remaining parts. The stealth parts were amazing. Wish those features existed while I was making my campaigns. I can't really think of anything bad to say to about it, really. It's fun, well-paced, and you get a lot of cool toys. The storyline is darker, which is nice, and Nova is a great main that should have her due in the universe now.
I've been toying with the idea of creating just one map. I like the idea of doing campaigns, because there's so much you can do. But it's one thing to toy around with ideas in Word, and another to spend hours (and in the long run: years) in the editor.
I have a lot of story fleshed out, though more on the macro level than on the micro.
I doubt I'll make anything this spring, but maybe in the fall? I don't play that much SC2 anymore (more HOTS now) and the thought of spending a year-or-so making something that can be played in a couple of days.

Can't complain about a positive review!

I did a boss tutorial in my campaign tutorial (scroll down).

Isn't that half the cost? Sounds fine to me.

Well, that's overestimating, I think. But yeah, positive feedback is almost great.
It's interesting, though. I spent years creating Perfect Soldiers, and I'm glad I did it, but it was a lot of work.

As great-looking as always, Fontaine! Now let me play this!
Shame on you.
