    No there not made from scratch. There actually from another rts game. But take a fair amout of work to get them in to starcraft 2

    There is no all in one tyranid file yet as i have not yet finished bringing over all the tyranid units And as far as releaseing the 3ds max files im not planning on that at the momment unless you are a project contributor. Particals are a good idea tho what ideas did you have in that deparment

    Ok i should of said right out of the gate there ported over from anothere game, dawn of war 2 to be exact. with edited textures to work with starcraft 2 thats why they are not for battlenet use or content. So im not trying to take credit for them or anything like that this is more looking for feed back in the sense, animation y on unit x is glitchy, i think if you added spikes to the tyranid gaurds back it would work good with his defensive ball animation. Or ways i can make the units better or fix them in a way to make them better for use. Like the color suggestion was perfect.

    TYRANIDS CAN BE FOUND HERE.

    Ok so looking for feedback on the tyranids iv been bringing over, what suggestions do you have to inprove them, or what needs to be fixed, or any input ingenaral since im coming close to finishing bringing over all the units and getting ready to go back and polish them up before starting on the next race.

    no. i know how to add them to the game. the question i had was, did i have enough or the right animations to make a fully functional building and usable in the fashion as like lets say the zerg hive. or what type of animations am i missing or what ones i could get away with not having.

    ok so i guess the question i have is, with the animations i have already would it be possible to make this model a working and functional unit producing building in starcraft 2, second part of the question i have is what animation names would i have to associate with each animation since im not familiar working on buildings yet. ( Stand, Morph Ect ) the thing is im really strapped for time for a while and i was hopping to skip the whole trial and error process i usually do to find things out on my own, so i thought would ask here for a little help.

    the files in 3ds max format i used 3dsmax 2010 if that matters.

    Ya that looks a lot like what i was shooting for, but i been away from my laptop for a bit so i havent been able to check out the file yet to see how the changes were made. But thank you in advance. You been a very big help so far with every problem i seem to come across.

    ya i have the max source of the model and i used starcraft trt tools

    the thing is i cant get the red the shade and darkness to better match lets say the starcraft to marine no matter how dark i make the team color section of the diffuse. and standing next to a starcraft marine it just look out of place color wise.

    i was wondering if someone can help me with a team colors issue, so the thing i was wondering is how it would be possible to make the team colors on this model look more like the ones like the starcraft 2 marines have, so when i start my space marines side of my project i can make them fit in more. model can be found here http://www.sc2mapster.com/assets/dow2-units/files/18-force-commander-beta/

    is it even possible with the textures i have, or what textures would i have to alter and how. also if it would help i can supply the original unaltered textures.

    nice!!!!!!! that's a lot better. how did you do that, and how would i be able to replicate that ?

    edit. aslo there is these, but there the only dds files in there own respective file (ex hormagaunt_armour_rare ) along with the corisponding model file so im taking it there just alt skins

    also i have every thing set to use RGBA is thats probably causing a problem?

    also how should i have this part set us is it fine to just leave on secular or emissive? or was i supposed to have something other then hit test checked? sorry if you dont mind my bugging you
