These bugs should be easy to fix, and yes those containers with replicants are doodads (Or rather models created through triggers) The selectable replicants spawn if the objective is complete.
Yeah, it was actually fisrt thing I learned, before using blender :D But it's still useful for doing recolors of those unimportable models, sadly kitbashing is still something unavailable :(
No need to thanks, I'm always glad to help :) . I was just curious if you have done it this way, since Adept portraits can't be imported into blender :(
This is how I explained it to Hammer, hope it will help you too :)
The steps are:
- Open the file you want to retexture
- Search for textures you want to replace, (for example, if you want a silver zealot, search Zealot_Diffuse.dds and Zealot_Specular.dds) by the find function.
- Rewrite the names to the names you want, for example to Sealot_Diffuse, with the S resembling Silver, or name it as you want, just the lenght of the name must stay the same. And also take caution so you don't accidentaly change other text such as the .dds file format or the path (Assets/Textures ...), only the name itself.
- Save the file
- Then export the textures from editor (Zealot_diffuse ...)
- Edit texture file to make it look as you want in photoshop or whatever ...
- Save the edited texture with the names you used in the model file in notepad, in this case Sealot_diffuse.dds
- Then Import both the textures and the model file into the editor. Place the textures into the "Assets/Textures/" subfolders (Standart procedure for most of custom models)
Thanks for the feedback, I'll fix that vespene geyser and maybe make the final zerg attack a bit more difficult. The visible places should be visible :D The machine doesn't attack you, because it is anti-air canon, so if you would have scouts, it would attack you :) For the highground, i noticed that as well, but I have no idea why it is happening :D
EDIT: And one question, what is your screen resolution ? If it is different than 1920x1080, can you please make a screenshot of the final cinematic screen with Karass talking ? it is supposed to be in the center of the screen, however I'm not sure if it works on different resolutions. If you don't want to play it all over again, then just get god mode and then type "jump" into chat (Alarak will automatically teleport to the beacon near the artifact.), after the cinematic type "win" and all generators will be destroyed, now just defend Alarak xD #DevCheats
It happens to me too. Easy way to solve it is right clicking the image you want and then clicking "Copy link adress" or that's how I suppose it is called in english, bacause I have it in Czech. And then simply ctrl+v into the change log of your file.
