I thought the cannons are terrifying, but man, the cockpit ... If I'd see this walking the streets ...

Looks technically advanced and menacing. Really an excellent job !!!

When you drag the file, for example "model.m3" to it, it should do the screen and make model.m3.xml in the same folder as the original model was. However it also doesn't work on some models :/ In that case it does the screen, but no model is created (It even probably writes an error, but it closes instantly ...). I'll try if the Stone Zealot works for me.

EDIT: Both StoneZealot.m3 and StoneZealotSwarm.m3 work for me.

You just drag the file onto that "m3toxml.py" or "xmltom3.py", however now I remember that you need to have Python installed as well for that, but that should probably be no problem, right ?

I don't know, but it should be possible to make a Deprecated version of it, but only while keeping the shape. However it should be possible to make a retextured, glossy version by using the M3addon master, which is pretty much the import plugin for blender.

You just use the convert to XML and then back to M3 after you are finished. While in the XML file state you can use some XML software, I'm currently using some "Firstobject" thing.

Then you can change the material values on the broken Stone zealot in blender and save the file or use some other "golden age" model. Then make XML version of both the unbroken Stone Zealot and the Broken One/Other model and open them. Then just copy the material properties of the broken one to the unbroken one and save.

This way you can make a "better retexture" as you can change the material data and light&particle&ribbon color instead of just the texture. And it will not break the armature. However it also does not work on certain models and of course you can't modify the mesh itself.

While Blizzard may be dying, StarCraft2 can live on just as Protoss and Zerg who lived after the death of their creators the Xel'naga. As long as StarCraft is in our hearts it cannot die for good and it sure will stay in my heart forever.

There may not be a lot of us in the SC2 community, but there certainly aren't only few of us either. While only a few dozen creators who ever post something here, there I surely others in the sc2mapster community who don't even have accounts, I've been like this a long time before I started uploading maps & models, In times when GhostNova was almost the only one to have some models here. I was just simply downloading the models and puting them in maps I've done for my friends.

It surely depends on players if they'll stay loyal to this game, but so far we have sc2mapster that has grown heavily, you can now have pretty much every model you ever dreamed of. There are still plenty players who play co-op and even the number of multiplayer players is increasing (at least in my country).

So similarly to what Fenix once said: "There is no shame in defeat so long as the spirit remains unbroken", we may have suffered a defeat from Blizzard, but as long as the spirit of players don't die they will continue playing this game.

Also I don't think Blizzard is dead just yet. They just went from being a mighty Angel to being a mere mortal, just like Tyrael from Diablo did. They are slowly going from one of the best game companies to just an average one. But it does not mean they are dead. Sure they've angered a lot of players and they still love WarCraft more than Diablo and Starcraft, but that has been so all the time. For example they've canceled the Pro scene of Heroes Of The Storm, all the crybabies said it's dead, because of that. But actually the game still gets content, the tryhard players left and the game is still quite fun and when now not being so serious they've even started to experiment. I know this may not be the same for SC2, but they may do that later. If they don't, well it's sad, but we still have this fantastic comunity and we are not alone, in China they have all sort of crazy SC2 stuff.

While the game is not getting much love from creators, it surely is getting it from me, I'm still making models and commander concepts and people seem to like them.

And you've done a great deal for SC2 community as well, it is sad to see you lose hope, but it's up to you. After all it is your decision in what you will invest your time and your love.

But no matter what ... my life for Aiur !!!

I quite like those crystals, maybe they don't have to be wings at all, if the name would change :D It's part of the biocrafters and those are infused with the crystals, so I think it fits well, maybe those crystals boost the levitation power :O I think that changing them to more pylon-like would of course make the unit more standart-protoss like, but I think that the point of making a faction is to make it different from the normal units. Just my thoughts tho ...
