Hey there, i'm Caev, you might or might not have heard of me; i'm a modeler, working on the Starcrafts Mod and Vanguard. Since the holidays are comming, i've recently been looking for paid work. I'd like to take time to do each of the projects, so i'm going to take 1 week to do each of the projects you might submit, up to 3 weeks:
December 15-21
December 22-28
December 29- January 4

As it happens with all and as we know we are chop liver to Blizzard and always get the worst or the last of things if any. The mapmakers of Team Liquid had not see the editor. We all know they are always the first to get the BEST of everything from Blizz they have even their own custom made icon that saids they have contributed greatly to Blizzard.
So Im wondering "IF" we will see the editor with the release of the Void?
I THINK NOT!!
As we know they the TEAM LIQUID guys need to get it first. I dont see a date for us to get it this soon.

I've actually heard blizz employees say "modders" more often than "mapmakers". To be fair they're well aware of the modding/arcade mapmaking community.
Talking about the TL community... yeah, they have many, if not, too many privileges. I hope this year's RTC will be giving away some of those potraits, at least custom potraits or something. Man, we work harder than melee mapmakers, we spend MONTHS working on a single project, without mentioning we have a MUCH broader understanding of the editor and the Sc2 engine.... and yet we get nothing (at least in material/digital sense).
I've got bad news, Architect is going to be busy for some time now, so we won't have the game to a playable point as soon as i expected, but i can still make some trigger work though.
I'll PM everyone who's helping so i can merge all heroes into a single mod.

I animate, mesh, texture and make all sorts of cool effects (explosions, warpins and such).
Pretty much anything that involves .m3, .m3a or .dds/.tga files i can do... exept beam effects, i'm still researching on how to do that.
I'm not sure what you mean with text tho.

If you add X texture in both tilesets, you can paint between and through the tilesets with that texture perfectly fine. You're welcome. :D
