    Hello. I made a small notepad++ macros, which can convert Warcraft 3 tooltip to Starcraft 2 tooltip. For example you have Warcraft 3 tooltip:

    It's not a perfect, but can be usefull in some cases. To install it for notepad++ find macros file shortcuts.xml and replace it by attached. Or if you have your own macroses in notepad you can just copy and add new one:

    • In Windows < 7 (including Win2008/R2) the macros are saved at C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\Notepad\shortcuts.xml
    • In Windows 7|8 C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Notepad\shortcuts.xml

    When you are done, open notepad++, create new file, copy warcraft 3 tooltip and run macros Convert Warcraft 3 tooltip to Starcraft 2 from macroses menu, press ok when messages pop up.

    posted a message on Bank size limit on current SC2?

    Hi, i want to store about 2.5k int values in bank file. I am using user data in triggers to save and load into bank file. Bank file size ~ 45kb and it stores just null values. So, it will be much bigger with real data. I plan to use it with 8 players in game. So, in game we have 8 bank files. Should i risk to use such big bank files or better to reduce it? Bank file attached.

    It was a little buried in the pre order announcement, but they have unlocked all expansions, you need only purchase one of them to have access to and publish with any asset from any expansion. So no division, if anything, unification. At this point, the only reason to buy any particular expansion is to access the campaign itself and the associated 1v1 ladder. The arcade and most of the game is free to play.

    Does it mean that players in arcade from SC2, HotS and LotV can be in the same game? I mean one player run original SC2 and creates lobby for custom map in Arcade. Other player from LotV joins this lobby. Will it work?

    I have negative feelings about LotV, because it will split SC2 community on two sides. First - original sc2 and hots, second - LotV. What will be with arcade? Will it die? Also, will include LotV assets of original sc2 and hots versions?

    No, it's not possible with triggers because armor types can't be written during the game. Only in data editor.

    posted a message on Sc2 Arcade death after release of Legacy of the Void

    Blizzard said that Legacy of the Void will be a standalone game, which does not require sc2 and hots. What does it means for arcade scene and players? Will it split all community on two parts? If yes, sc2 will die very soon, all non arcade players will move to Legacy of the Void, but the rest will stay on hots because of arcade maps. What assets will be available on Legacy of the Void? Will it include Sc2 and Hots campaign units, heroes, etc.? Discuss.

    Hi, i have a question. When i publish my map with all 3 mods War3, War3 Extra, War3 Terrain i can't use Always use latest version. When i add War3 Extra with flag Always use latest i am getting Error: Dependency data could not be loaded. Dependency file could not be found (Mods\WarCraft\WarCraft.SC2Mod). But if i press ok again it allows to me to save map, but i can't use War3 Extra. It means that i always should have latest mod locally on my disk to publish latest War3 Extra mod, because it must uses latest version of War 3 mod, LOL. Can we fix it or should i just don't use War3 Extra mod? My map Warcraft 3 Unit Tester is always broken because i need to update each time when war3 mods are updated...

    In this map you can create all warcraft 3 units, which are available since patch 2.1.9. Thanks to Blizzard and Renee for warcraft 3 assets and mods. Link on sc2mapster project http://www.sc2mapster.com/maps/warcraft-3-unit-tester/

    Current features:

    • Filter units by type: all, hero, item, unit, structure, destructible, projectile.
    • Create units of selected unit name.
    • Create units for player, neutral and hostile. Supports up to 14 players (have not tested yet).
    • Create all units at once (almost 2k units).
    • Create units at random point, at point of view, at point on grid. You can setup grid location with step x, step y, direction and start point.
    • Create random unit from chosen unit type.
    • Set up number of units to create.
    • Remove selected units.
    • Remove all units on map.

    More features will be added in next releases.
