    Of course you could use sc2 Editor since 2010 and just don't register on sc2mapster, but i don't think so.

    There are only a few mappers who sit here for over 5 years, and it should be since release of beta version of SC2 editor, april 2010.

    Nice politics of Blizzard, 45 maps (as mininum 100 hours per map, top quality can take 500-1000 hours). Suppose about 7k hours spent on 45 maps. About 50 maps eliminated ~ +4500 hours. Totally about 12k hours of programmers. Free maps for arcade SC2. Imagine how much they should pay programmers inside Blizzard. They receive as minimum 5k$ per month(some of them may be 10k, one month 160 work hours.) 12k hours / 160 = 75 months. So cost of all these maps about 375 000$ - 750 000$. Nice work for free. And it's just work for several months. Total cost of all arcade maps for 5 years ~ several millions of $$$.(or even much more)

    I spent myself over 100 hours on WC3 Castle Fight for this contest. And noone played this, it was my fault because other devs published other version of Castle Fight one month before mine(facepalm). Still can't believe that they developed same map(T_T).

    Also remember that all maps and stuff are property of Blizzard Entertainment under the agreement, which was created by them. So even we are original creators of maps we can't even do anything. We are just giving our works for free.

    My maps have been removed 3 times, first for religion (defense of the universe), second for swastika(Grass TD) and third for unknown reason (Probes vs Zealot 2 on EU server), LOL. So you can try your religion map :D.

    Naisha kills items of heroes because of splash damage and item not excluded from search filters. Also they damages yourselves.

    Anybody else using Chinese have any similiar issues? It doesn't seem to happen with RUSSIAN, only Chinese (probably lots of special kludges for Chinese servers).

    Yes, it's because chinese have separate server. I also had the same issue. You could try to edit EditorVariables.txt file and change zhCN language, i don't remember but it can help.

Popular maps would still show up in this list very often, but no longer in the same top spot. So a new map in this list would pop up and get attention.

    This is like the open map listing, but instead of disappearing when it starts, it simply shows up in the browse page replacing the devastating popular browsing system.

    Pitfall: Teleport range for Teleport effect does not work. When i set it to 100 or other values and tries to teleport i receive a message "Can't find placement location". All teleport flags such as Test Cliff, Test Fog, Test Zone are disabled.

    Solution: None. For range less than 363 works placement validation and it prevents from teleport. For range bigger than 363 it ignores placement validation. For my map i uses global blink with range 400, but problem is that unit can blink inside other units, because it's ignoring placement... Blizzard fix it please.

    I'm not even sure what that means. They already work on modern OS as far as I know. Hopefully we get updated graphics, controls and battle.net support.

    I guess those games have more underlying problems that the end user doesn't really experience but Blizzard wants to clean their code. This could actually lead to higher resolutions, battle.net 2 support, and other things. Although, do people actually want the new battle.net in their old SC?

    WOW, this is how we should search news :D. They don't need to create warcraft 4 and other games. Just make Warcraft 3, Diablo 2 in HD and people will buy it again. I think Warcraft 3 HD will kill SC2, lol. Cause it still have more mapmakers and thousands of maps.

    Yes, they should replace their official Warcraft 3 mod data by yours. Their mod just have warcraft 3 units without abilities.

    YES, i also have this, i found that if you import .tga file with short name for example 0.tga or 1.tga works, omg, sometimes .dds works, but why and when i don't know...

    New pitfall: After patch 3.0.3 refund does not work when unit sells items in end of range of sell ability. So, if shop has ability with range 1, units selling items, but refund does not work. It works with range less than 1 but not at end of range.

    Solution: Use triggers to fix it, i have not found data editor solution, seems it's a terrible bug.

    Galaxy Vampirism has 10 fps with 64 bit client and 30-40 with 32 bit client. This map has over 1k mineral fields + many units of players.
