deathtorn, it's people like you that keep me coming back to sc2mapster. PEOPLE ARE HELPFUL HERE! Anyway, what I'm trying to do is make a Naz$ Zombie-style TPS. I'm stuck on the barrier system. If you haven't played nzombies, you are in a bunker with windows blocked by barricades, which the zombies destroy to then eventually enter and eat you. I want to make this system, but everything I try doesn't work! If the barrier is alive, tell the last created unit (zombie) to attack the barrier. Then tell them to walk into the window and attack the player. If the barricade is already killed, tell them to walk in the window and attack the player. Could you make this for me and show me how to do it with multiple barriers? Because if one barrier goes down, with my system all the zombies go through THAT window instead of their own. I can't use pathing, spawn regions for each barricade are random and on top of each other in some cases. Please help!
Try finding the mission "The Devil's Playground" and see how they do it with the rising lava. Not sure if you could get it in the editor though. What you could then do is have a rounded hill as the arena and have the lava rise up and sink down to make the arena your wanted size. Good luck on your project!
I hate actors. They are way too hard for me. I can get anything else but them. When I started my map, I never duplicated anything and I simply edited the built-in units. I edited the model and made a simple upgrade, and that is still about all I can do with actors. Now it came back and bit me in the butt. I can't look at the original bunker actor because it's tainted by "Nonduplicationitis." And yes, I will take a look at the wiki.

Also, I published a simple defense map (Defend the Pylon) and it rocketed to the top. It's already on the 3rd page and I never expected it to get popular.
My bunker unit does not look occupied when units are inside, and it does not catch on fire when its hurt. Could someone put a screenshot of what the events inside the bunker actor should look like?
I'm not sure, but there is something in the actor for buildings that edits the terrain. Maybe if you delete that field it will stop the doodad carnage.
In the MODEL (not the unit), there is a field called "selection layer" or something along those lines. The higher the number is in that field, the lower the selection priority. Raise this number and it should fix that.
I have a marine-type unit that i want to deal 75% less damage while its outside of bunkers. I've tried using different weapons and then disabling one and enabling the other when the marine goes into the bunker. No luck.
I also tried having a damage de-duff whenever the marine was outside of the bunker. That didn't work either.
Could anybody help me out?
The title says it all. I'm trying to get a screenshot I took in game as my loading screen. When I try to import it, i go into the SC2 screenshot folder and nothing is in there! How can I import a screenshot? Is it something to do with the file type?

Hello community!
