I understand everyones pain, but the devolment team made the worse decision that chanced the whole game from BroodWar,

They REMOVED THE LOGIC from the game! Why was BW so awsome?Because they just let the cool stuff go, they were not afraid of making powerful units, and this is way they made so few balance changes like the cost of scout, or the suply of battlecruiser/carrier or the 150 demage psi storm (i miss it :P)

Just think about it, why would terrans remove the firebat and medic(I don't care if people say medic is OP, they were in BroodWar)from their tech tree when they are so important in early battles untill you have money for medivs, or why would Hydras be so much more expensive in sc2? They are not crap because of the speed they are crap because of the hight cost(and they do the same dps as in BW).

As for stuctures, when Blizzard removed the Dark Pylon, a pice of me died.

Wow, so now you have a firebat produced from the factory that costs no gas it can be healed know and can now enter in a bunker -__-

!@#$ this thing, blizzard is selling us the same units with another shell, I knew it since the beta of Sc2. They are just out of ideas.....because if you think about it they just combined units and said they are new, helion is a vulture/firebat, medivac is a dropship/medic, thor is an ugly big goliath with a worse valkyrie air attack, marauder is a walking tank with no spash.

I miss the alpha days of sc2, when the game wasn't goofy, when reapers were usefull in battles, when medics were in, when the diamondback was the siege braker unit, when psi-storm had 2 radius and the reaver or the ghost snipe was reasercheble and dealed 150 demage or the infestor could actually infest buildings.

I am very curious how the splits of Mutalisk would be(they are very weak mobile flzing creatures,I can't imagine them oder way), I have to admit that blizzard artists seamnd to put alot more effort in Hots campaign.

I am wondering if they made valkyries for a reason..maybe they will fight the Hyperion in the Star battle mission alongside with a ''newly'' behemoth batllecruser led by Stukov. There must be UED remainders playing a role in Hots.

Uh well, I just like them because they seam tougher than the spine crawlers and since we have planetary fortress or perdtion turret for defece in Wol, they might give us sunken colonies(with something like 400-500 hp and 40 demage) or canceld sc2 defence zerg structures.

As I can see, IMO It looks like zerg will evolve in mainly two ways.

The green evos look more organic(there are mushrooms on the green ultra head) wich would make zerg more powerfull as numbers (swarmling wich are 3 limg for 50 min, the splitering wich splits in two mini-banelings after it explodes, I could imagine that the green swarm host would spwan 4 locust at a time) so they would be more predetor animals than xenomorphs .

On the other hand the pink/purple zergs are more ”psionic” focus as they they are likely to be more powerfull in hp/demage (raptor has +10 hp and it lips, gorgaling gives resorces back, Leech gains +10 hp for kill, I would imagine the purple swarm host spawning flying locusts with 90hp or the purple ultra with something crazy like 750-800 hp or 80 demage.

Yeah, I prefer 21 well made missions than 26 goofy missions, I hope they wont put us make anymore mission choices(like Tosh/Nova or Safe haven?Haven fall) because they were evident.

We all know that blizzard always pays attention to the real fans that played sc1/broodwar , but unfortunately it seams blizz pays way to much attention to make 8-16 years old noobs feel comfortable.This is the reason that Hots has only 20 missions (some kids complained that Wol campaign was to long oO) , and the reasson that workers mine for themselfs(I wonder if LotV will require any skills)and they named this units like pokemons.

It would be to mainstream to name ultras splits Torrasque and Stank.

I can hardly belive those things can even fly...they look more like roaches with aids .No, blizzard sure is trolling because the textures look amazing and I am more than sure they made awsome models that look like they should.They can,t just ignore their starcraft 1 models. Btw, thank for sharing us that info, I am now sure that all the Starcraft 1/Broodwar zerg units will make a come back and the Valkyrie :)

I am sure those 2 ”units” are not the guardian and devourer, there is no way those modeling jokes are ment to be serious units, the textures look awsome though..

Yep, they look like some really ugly,mutated,franken stein guinea pigs..I hope they are ester eggs, because they look hideously ugly.

i am off this forum but I would be really tankfull if you could show a image with the campaign models :)

I was baptized as an ortodox but I pretty much like to follow the belifes of my ancestors(dacians) shortly in life after death. You don't only live once and go to haven or hell, but rather to another phisical life somewere in this vast universe(kinda like buddhism). I don't hate any religion, they all have good and bad things and I don't judge people for their beliefs, but for their extremes(wich make me rage hard).

Unfourtnetly the church in my country is extremly corupt and reach and the same is the patriarch.

Just a fact, in Romania there are:

- 18.300 churches

- 4700 schools

- 425 hospitals

I know it is only beta and there is no way all the new campaign models are in the map editor, but I wonder If they made the defiler and the brood war queen or they gived those abilities to the viper morphs.

Anyway, I would be very grateful if you could show me any image of those campaigm models, I didn,t get a beta key and I am to excited to wait the game to be released.
