    posted a message on Variables

How do I reference a variable in 1 trigger into a completely different trigger? Is this possible? I am having a hell of a time with this. Here is an example:

    TRIGGER 01 Event: Map initialization

    Variable: Board = Leaderboard <No Leaderboard>

Actions: Create a leaderboard with....... Variable - Set Board = (Last created leaderboard)

So then if I were to go make a second Trigger and attempt to reference my variable 'Board' how would I go about doing so? Because when I click on anything that says "Value" and then select "Variable" my set variable 'Board' is no where to be seen. Having to copy and paste the variable doesn't seem right and it seems like in the long run that could cause complications - beside, wouldn't copy and pasting the variables mean they would lose their set value? If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it!

I too have many questions (sorry, no answers). Does anyone know how to make custom units? I could do it with ease in the War3 editor, but I am having a hell of a time with it in this SC2 editor. Also, how to make heroes? I have found the enable/disable experience gain triggers but do not know how to make a Hero. I have found the "Hero" label, but I think I should learn how to make a unit first.

Hey guys, I have been following this site for awhile - completely impressed with the ingenuity and determination of the people who run this site. I hope to be a reoccurring member now that I have finally decided to register and post here.

Anyway, just introducing myself - you guys should look into having a dedicated "Introduce yourself" thread!
