    or is one text message shown then another replacing it? if you have two people in a game talking it looks like above. :P

            Dialog - Create a label for dialog (Last created dialog) with the dimensions (200, 50) anchored to Top Left with an offset of (50, 50) with the text Text color set to White text writeout set to False with a writeout duration of 2.0

    can adjust the following: Width, Height, Anchor (location), offset x & y, text message, color, text writeout, text writeout duration.

        Actions
            Dialog - Create a Modal dialog of size (Size x, Size y) at (Location x, Location y) relative to (Center/top/right/left/ect) of screen
            Dialog - Show (Last created dialog) for (All players)
            Dialog - Create a label for dialog (Last created dialog) with the dimensions (200, 50) anchored to Center with an offset of (0, 0) with the text "TEXT" color set to White text writeout set to True (if you want it spelled out 1 letter at a time)  with a writeout duration of 5.0 (how long you want to take to write entire TEXT message)

    hmmm? actions~ cinematic mode, fade in/out, golbal cinematic setting, movei add sub tital (text), movei add trigger function, movie dynamic subtitles and duration, movie stop recording, overlay image, run cinematic, select main shadow light, stop cinematic...

    what ones does it take? LOL.

    Edit: here is what igot so far but it dont fade..

        Local Variables
        Conditions
        Actions
            UI - Display "this is a text message" for (All players) to Directive area
            General - Wait 10.0 Game Time seconds
            UI - Clear All Messages for (All players)

            Unit - Add 1 (Behavior) to (Unit) from (Caster)
    adjust the behavior, unit , and caster

            Unit - Make (Triggering unit) Take No damage
    set triggering unit in events, adjust (take(delt also)), and can change the no to (minimal, mega, full)

            Unit - Set Behavior duration to 0 on unit (Last created unit)
    adjust behavior to any behavior, set 0 to how long, can set (last created unit) to who you want targeted.

            Unit - Set (Last created unit) scale to (100.0%, 100.0%, 100.0%) of its original size
    change (last created unit) to unit you want and can change how big it appears on screen.

            Unit - Add 1 rounds of ammo to Ability Command magazine for (Last created unit)
    change the 1 to how ever much ammo you want, set ability command to the ability you want to change

    these can be set with triggers OR in data editor.

            Timer - Set timer for (Last created timer window) to (Last started timer)
            Timer - Show (Last created timer window) for (All players)
            Timer - Create a timer window for (Last started timer), with the title "Game Time:", using Remaining time (initially Visible)

    this is a timer trigger that works :P. just change the 60.0 game time seconds to how ever long you want it to be.

    i dont have my trigger editor open right now but is there a trigger that Moves units from location A to location B? or is it more of create and kill thing? oh and i dont mean unit walking across to location B. i mean like teleported to location B via trigger.

    Need help creating cinematics, or want to share yours? Use this Development forum is how this forum is listed for. honestly. i dont know what the use would be in a game, probably some start up anamations befoe the game starts? this would have to be done totaly in the triggers and a little bit done in the data editor if you had actuall units in cinematic creation if its modified units. im by far not even a novice in cinematic creation but its been several day with this forum open and no one on SCIIMAPSTER has even posted 1 thing, lol. so let me get the ball rolling by saying the cinematics that i have seen are pretty good and i feel there is a good amount of game creators that know this very well. but dont post on here becuase they dont have questions, lol.

    haha thats brutal with the siege tanks. probably has to do with targeting and the zerglings saying ''oh shit'' haha the only way to get round that AI would be a wall of direct fire units. firebats would crush that, lol.  but there is always a counter to anything .

    the problem you might run into is that projectiles are auto lock on target everytime they fire and sence they dont have a durration for flight time no matter where you move/dodge to they will swing back around and get ya, lol. how i know this is i modified a carriers interceptors to move at a speed of about 100, VERY FAST. didnt change anything on missle turrets and they still landed to hit interceptors... at best you can have an ability that shots something that looks like a projectile but not the actual thing.

    sounds pretty good. im pretty good at the editor. can make zerglings launch nukes, WTF? lol...but anyways, the issue you might run into on what you discribed is how are the mineral fields placed? if its random location and random field then you might get 50 of 1kind in an area and 0 of another. if someone is coverd in LV4 mineral fields then its rape time for him because he cant make lv1 units (marine,zealot,lings) not to sure how a Relic would work attaching it to a structure but what comes to mind is making a hero marine (example) and when you obtain him you can recruit them in your structure. just make it a dependant on you must have unit (hero). as far as the modifier that would have to do with how close you are to the object that effects them. such as if your close to marine hero you get a +10% fire rate. or something like that. other wise you could be damaging your army by depleating mineral fields, lol. better to ADD than to subtract for units for progression. lack of hero is lack of bonus type of stuff.
