    made an upgrade and added the 50 minerals. just how do you make it automaticaly get the upgrade? i know how to add +1in the triggers being i have one already for stim ability can can do the same for this upgrade.

    i had an idea, is there a way that you can increase the cost of a unit the more you make them? such as 1 barracks cost 150. standard stuff, but what if you wanted to increase the cost to build a barracks to lets say 200. +50minerals. and +50 minerals for each barracks after. 150,200,250,300,350,400. so your 6th barracks cost 400minerals.... dont know if its even possible, just a thought. :D

    Hello im currently working on a game and im not very good at placing terrain, or making it look awesome. so im asking anyone who is really good at making terrain to lend a hand. Im not on a team and currently the only person working on the map. dont need help with data or triggers, i got that down. just dont want the map to look blank and bland. The idea is to create what would LOOK like to be hell on earth  type of an idea, lol. Thank you.

    from the moderator: currently, you can make cinematics. (meaning you can create cinematics without current 1.5beta)

    the new ""tool"" that's in the 1.5 beta...again what is the name of the forum... cinematic creation? but currently, you can make cinematics.

    this new ""editor".... still can create cinematics even with out the editor? yes.... cinematic creation=creating cinematics? i think so...

    This forum is for discussing that ""program""<--discussing a program is not same as discussing cinematic creation, which can be made from no update. at best the name on this form should not read cinematic creation and should read, NEW TOOL or NEW ENGINE for creating cinematics.... get it now?

    plenty of maps CURRENTLY have this. its nothing """new""" in the 1.5, i have seen it myself on several maps. it might be ""improved"" in the update. guess you didnt get that part in my comment. improving how a person does something is not a "new" thing, just a better one.

    suggestion: copy the zealot rush ability, that works no matter if you have a target or not, then just add an Melee attack range weapon to do the damage, as far as the offset goes, it sounds like your contradicting what you want, dash but no dash, you probably cant have both under the same ability, suggest adding in a custom Stop ability to stop unit at a given range from unit. as to not to interfere with the dash ability, make it to chanelling so it cant be interupted while dashing. just a thought. :D

    1. To create a crap load of upgrades you have to go into data editor and change how many times you can upgrade. such as in melee they are all set to 1 upgrade then expire, to change this go into the upgrade menu, click on the upgrad you wantto change and make the "MAX LEVEL" to how ever many upgrades you want.

    2. Copy the ability of automated refinery's and put it on the tower. anyone owning it will benefit from the income, thats for gas. for minerals, duplicate the ability and change income to minerals instead of vespene. that would be the easy way of doing it, lol.

    found issues with old destert strike, several units where run off of a trigger system that was, imo, very bad. vultures, infestors, ravens have all been improved upon with new targeting for ability use.

    2.I dont know if you dont....
    3.there is no AI in the triggers for units. just a command order to attack. such as Order all units at location A to attack location B.

    i think the main issue with the pheonix is that it dont use ability to pick unit up. so instead it fly's right over lets say left over siege tanks and dont kill them. from what i can find all the AI is not run on triggers at all.

    here is what was up with the claiming of booms... they had it so you had 8 seconds to claim that extra boom.... well, guess what? THATS GONE.. haha. :D

    Changed it to where you cant even click on the boom menu till 40seconds into the game so it has time to set up booms and specials before anyone can click on the button to claim them.

    I have obtained a copy of Desert strike, the version that is currently on the 1st page for popular games and if ANYONE has suggestions as to improve it add it here. i will read each reply every day and communicate with the PUBLIC to improve this game. i already know some of the issues with claiming specials and booms. what else would you like to see changed? please keep the rediculas out of it, lol. no im not going to make tanks do 9999 damage, type of stuff. the unit balance is pretty good imo. so lend a helping hand in creating this game so its #1. any feedback is greatly wanted. Thank you.
