Could it be an actual RTS game? I thought StarCraft 2 was the only remaining modern game left in that genre. Thanks for the heads up, will definitely check this out!
My issue is getting the unwrap to not be such a disaster to deal with.
I watched parts of athiandr's tutorial, and I figured out that I could relax and pack the maps multiple times in order for them to be easier to apply textures to.
I've added TexTools to my arsenal as well, but I'm still having a tough time wrapping my head around unwrapping (no pun intended)
By unchecking "Update model visibility" in Actor Model Flags I was able to get the highlight to show up everywhere without the requirement for the dummy unit to have any sight radius.
How do I go about adding a single observer to the game?
I tried making them a player on a second team, but it messes with the game, the first player to join the lobby is always player 1, and I can't impose the slots onto the players..

So basically I just need to make player 1 the observer?

I was able to add a cool down to the nuke ability, using transparency to show time.
I also found a cool down effect example that could be modified to something more CnC like.

I still don't think this addresses the fact that no matter where you are in the lobby, if you are first, you are player 1...
