Well, it is dark, I'll give you that. I really like the contrast between the HDR and darkness, but I would have to say that there were a little too many zealots in there for my taste. They took away some of the feel of "Memorial" and turned it into more of an "Active Warzone". Overall, though, well done. At least 8/10 for sure.
I know all of this already. I just wanted people to be able to open my map and copy the doodad without worrying about whether or not a custom actor is inked to it that they would also have to copy.
Do you mean that copying a doodad also copies its actor, or do you simply mean that a doodad is an actor?
If the former, I learned something. If the latter, that doesn't help me at all, since I already knew this and was avoiding making a new actor.
I have a skeleton for a DotA map that I made (left to be textured and fiddled with by a team's terrainer).
I also have a number of doodads-like items that I put together These first two are just things that I made for fun:
These, however, I made with the sole intention of them being used for Third person maps.
The standard trees are really just not appealing to the eyes when you use them in a Third Person perspective, so I have this:
Aaand damnit. Imgur is being derpy and not uploading my images. I'll attach them.
These trees are made in such a way that once you place them, you can select a group of them and press "Ctrl+Shift+Z" to randomize variations until you are happy with what you see. An image of this is shown below.
Also attached is a fancy archway that could be easily used as a cave entrance, as well a sun and moon that have been merged with lights and environment effects to give them a very nice look for any third person map out there.
As long as the water doesn't touch, you can just use a different type of water tile and give it a different height. If they do touch, however... You have a wee bit of a problem. That generally means that you would have to change your cliffs so that the water doesn't overlap. Don't forget that you can use Waterfall, Rock Waterfall, and fog/rain doodads to help make it look connected and flowing.

I take that back then. 9/10

Kinda squeezing this in last second, but anyways:
WASD Freespace Flight System
Features:
Flaws (Nothing that can't be fixed by someone more skilled than I am):
Edit: Just looked at the other submissions. I am rightfully ashamed of this.

Using data somewhat defeats the purpose of a terrain asset. No ridiculously simple copy/paste.

Heh. Just noticed you are technically only 3 days older than me. That's awesome.

Well I feel new.

Why not start a new WTE? :(
I drew a blank on this one.

Temple-forest theme.

I like your progress rate. A model a day is pretty good. Heh.

You can use site operations to make new doodads that aren't straight up and down. There's a few tutorials for it lying around here.

That is interesting...
