Oh, and to clarify. I want to have another unit with the same model as another unit, but have a different texture. I need both units to remain in the map, so replacing it isn't an option.
So my project absolutely NEEDS a Reaver model to be finished. Any chance someone could make one for me? I really only need the model and movement animation. Scarabs I can improvise with.
Just 1 more question. When I convert it, do I have to import the texture files the same way I would in WC3? Like, the same location the person set it. Or do I have to do more conversions and stuff?
So I downloaded a model from Hive Workshop. Is there any way to convert this to a file SC2 can use w/o having to buy a modelling application I'll never use?
So I have this map with a lot of custom units. I want to make another custom unit out of the firebat. But whenever I try to do the dependency thing, it screws up all my other custom units. How would I work around this?
I tried setting all my settings from ultra to low, quitting all my background apps, and restarting the editor. But no matter what I do, whenever I try to alter cliffs in any way, the editor lags really bad. Any idea what this is about?
So there's this 1 unit that I don't want moving when someone's pushing at it. How could I accomplish this? If it needs to be a global thing, it doesn't matter.
Hey unless you didn't know, all the SC1 units will be included in the shipping of SCII

Is there any way to switch a units textures to an imported one through the data editor?
