Before you explain, I have to say that I can't change or use any of the campaign units or heroes units. =[
I'd like if you explain with the melee units used on normal mine and build create games.
1. I want to shoot more lasers with my mothership.
I want to make an ability that makes mothership shoots additional range attacks.
I tried adding more effects when pressing the button, but it doesn't shoot additional lasers which was colossus's lasers. =[
2. How do I make an ability that makes my unit switch different type of range attack when used ?
Ex. Use an ability button and hydralisk shoots roach acid for few seconds.
I thought I shouldn't repost so I'm replying to get this thread on front so others might help me out. =[
I still can't change hero datas. Plus I can't even make them unless I change the dependencies again everytime I open
the editor.
I have to get rid of some dependencies and add the same thing back and I get the heroes. Of course I can't
change the data though.

Hey at least I solved no.3.
The reason was because this editor is so complicated, it had costs on the unit itself and also on the ability cost.
Searched Nexus on units tab and there was a cost for energy.
Searched Nexus by probe's ability building and there was energy and costs for the Nexus.
Those 2 didn't match so they automatically just got rid of the energy.
Blizzard should seriously think of making a easier editor for map editors. =[

I want my mothership to attack somewhat like the carrier. So when there are 10 hydralisk, it will shoot 10 different units
but when there is only 1 carrier to fight, I want my mothership to shoot all 10 lasers at that 1 unit.
So it's like if I just use attack on the map terrain towards where the units are, it will attack separately
but if I attack on 1 unit, it will only shoot all 10 at one.
And this is the list what I've changed to make it happen but it just made the mothership to attack in a thicker version of 2 mothership
lasers that deal damage just like a Void Ray. It takes some time to do a lot of damage.
And then I did the same to Mothership Secondary Beam (Persistent)
This didn't work so I thought it must be the effect.
So I added Mothership Third Beam (Persistent) by copying
the Secondary Beam (Persistent) and added on
Mothership (Set) -> Effect -> Effects on the third line.
1. I don't know how to fix hero unit's "DATA" files for like Tassadar, Jim Raynor, Kerrigan or Firebat, Medic.
I tried deleting dependencies and adding again and somehow I got goliath for the first time on my data search.
But I could only change Goliath's life, cost and stuff like that. I don't see any effects, actors or weapon to change.
I still can't search any other hero units like Kerrigan and can't find any other Terran campaign units besides Goliath.
I can see all actors' effects weapons for normal melee units like zealot, roaches, marauders.
2. I think I should first solve the 1st problem because I can't even find anything like strike Turrets on the data.
I only found that the command center only requires barracks to morph into orbital command. =[
3. There is no buff. I checked again and again. So now I just set to parent value of nexus which resets every data back to how it was.
Then I only changed it's life and shield amount. Still Nexus has no energy. It does have Chrono boost though. =[ strange.

goliath on the map. Sometimes when I load the map, the units are not there but only shadows for heroes and campaign units.

Question 2. Why can't I make orbital command after adding dependencies ?
After changing dependencies I can make goliath, diamond back, medic, firebat and
all that but can't build Orbital command for command center. I only can make
command center into planetory fortress.
I checked the data and I do have command center ability to morph into orbital command too. I have the ability command card and the ability.
I didn't even touched it. After adding dependencies it just changed like this automatically.

Question 3. Why don't my Nexus have energy when it's supposed to have ?
After changing Nexus's life and shield, I can't use chrono boost because I have 0 energy.
I set energy start to 0. Regen speed 0.5 with 00 delay and total 100 energy.
I want to make endless workers on one mineral. I tried this but it took long for other workers to mine like it had delay for gas when more than 3 workers
are mining.
And I want to make more than 3 workers to enter the vespene gas building to harvest gas faster like fastest map.
But you whine like a little girl hiding in a closet. You seem to lack a basic understanding of the search function. Your reading comprehension is also lacking if you thought dumping every thread into the same section (in particular this section) was the right place to go. We have CLEARLY labeled forum sections for questions and tutorials.
You're not going to get much sympathy until you learn some common sense.

Weird. My zerglings and Brood lord changes well but my mothership doesn't.
Thankx. My mothership changed. I changed both
"Portrait Mothership" and "Mothership" for Mothership "Model". And changed X,Y,Z to 1.4 for minimum and maximum scale.
I wonder why only mothership requires this.
Even the Ultralisk changed with only chaning the art scale.

I changed it to 1.4. It's real big in editor when I make it but when I make mothership in nexus on game, it's the same size.
Weird thing is I also changed zergling's size and made zerglings but zergling's size actually have changed unlike mothership.
Could it be the mothership is just way too big to become even bigger in the game ? Or do I need to like change the green circle thing bigger enough ?
I don't know what that green circle thing is called. The thing you get when you click on units on game or editor.

It was Ability Tab -> search keyword "Harvest".
Click on unit worker I want and double click the stats - flags and put a check on bypass resource quene.
I took a lil time to figure it out. lol

I think I should give up. I need so much help but I'm not getting enough.
I couldn't even find where i can make more than 8 interceptors for a carrier.
This is too much stress and time for not much of a entertainment.
