    posted a message on Custom animated cut scenes in editor?

    I would like to know if I were to animate say a simple fight between two units exported from the editor into 3ds max would I be able to import the animation to the editor and use them to make cut scenes? If this sounds confusing I'll use an example: I want a cut scene to have zeratul fighting a marine and i export models to 3ds max then animate it. After words I would import the fight animation into the editor and placed them as a unit or some sort of editor object and then used the editor cameras to get a cut scene set together. Then go from there. Is this possible? If so then a link to something related to this or an explanation would be helpful.

    I can't seem to find a post or a tutorial of linking several sc2 maps together like a campaign if it is possible in single player. For this set of maps it would be for a rpg style game and Is it possible to have ie: a map of just a town, then you would walk to the edge of the town and be moved to another map which would be the outside of the town. I am planning on a big open world that wouldn't fit on a single map.

    I started up a test of a sc2 map and i have a few custom UIs in it and one of them isn't working out for me right now and it's giving me this error:

    How can i fix this error?

    Sorry for the late replay but anyway. That didn't seam to work out so well. I put in the SC2Layout file into the default game UI but it didn't change a thing for me. Maybe I just put it in wrong or something. Thanks though!

    I am working on a game right now and I need to move the unit info panel to the bottom right corner of the screen. But I can't seem to get it to move at all. I am somewhat new to working with custom UI layouts. Also, I could be wrong but I think that the information displayed when you click on a unit or structure such as health, energy, name, shields, etc. is the unit info panel if not then that's what i'm trying to move.

    posted a message on Hack and Slash style game help

    I am working on a side scrolling game and the general attack is a "hack and slash" type of attack. I have the actual attack ready to be used but I can't seem to figure out one thing. I want the character you play as to stand in place while the attack is happening and not be able to move while until the attack is finished. Normally the character will attack and slide across the ground because the walk animation doesn't work with the attack animation. Also I would like to know if there is anyway to always have the player's character selected without manually selecting the character so the player can still use the special abilities such as blink.
