I cannot get my Editor or Starcraft 2 for that matter to open since the latest patch, it just pops up with a error screen then the program closes every time. Has anyone else had any problems with the patch? And anyway to fix it?
It's patch 1.5.2 and by the looks of the comments on Blizzard a lot of people have been having this problem...
For me the lag is primarily when loading the dependencies, the Left 2 Die dependencies are especially laggy for me sometimes it can take up to 3-5 mins just to load those dependencies. Loads much quicker without the dependencies but then since the patch I can't test the map without them being loaded.

Hi I'm working on an FF style map and I was using a Random Encounter System I had downloaded in assets and can't seem to get it to work in either my map or in the actual map the triggers come with. I think what happened is an update has broken it somewhere alone the line cause it was last updated in 2010. I messaged the author already but didn't receive a reply so I was wondering if someone here could help me fix the system.
Basically I'm trying to make a trigger to make one unit follow another, but the problem I've run into is under commands for Issue Orders: Ability Command, the is no "move" command only "hold position" is it normal for the move command to be missing? And is there a way to add the move command somehow?
Thank now I have the animation playing, but I'm having one issue, the animation will only play on the caster. (eg the explosion is happening on my caster and not the target unit when it is set on caster) but then if I set it to the target unit the animation doesn't show up in game again and I still get now errors.
So I created an ability from scratch and I just can't seem to give my ability an impact model. I've created an effect, a model, an actor for the ability and an actor for the model I want to use for the impact and I can't figure out how to get the impact model to show up. Also I'm not getting an errors when I use the ability and everything else is working (Like the damage and Effects)
Can anyone tell me how exactly I connect the impact model to my ability through the actor?
Basically I'm trying to import Midi sound files because they are much much small than ogg file. The editor does let me import the file atm but not attach them to a sound.
Any ideas on a way to get midi files to work beyond this point?
Just wondering is there anyway to set the tint color of a unit to the players team color via actors when the unit receive a specific buff?
In other words I want to be able to create an actor that sets the tint color of the unit to whatever the players team color is, but I'm not sure if this can be accomplished with just data.
Trying to make buildings actually stack on top of each other, and be able to build a building on top of another building. Anyone have any suggestion on how this might be done?
So I'm trying to make a item that when you pick it up and equip it will change the model and tint color (Actor) of the unit you equip it to. (In my case it is changing the zealot prisoner model to the regular zealot model while the unit stays the same.) But so far items seem to only effect behaviors. Does anyone know how I could do this?
Now that I have imported the files does anyone know how I move them to the soundtrack section of the data. When I click move files I get a pop up that asks me to type in a new path, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to enter.

I actually listen to Drum & Bass, it's similar to Dubstep but much faster pace...

Thanks I got it working it was the Host - Subject was set to _Selectable and changing it solved the problem, thanks you the help :)
