    Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

    I have never seen this action before in my life so it is not a trigger causing it to be greyed out however, i did manage to fix it by checking the "enable enemy unit selection" for all players:

    Player Group - Pick each player in (All players) and do (Actions) Actions Player - Override Enable Enemy Unit Selection option for player (Picked player) to Enabled

    So this doesn't really solve my question but i am satisfied with the workaround. As you can see in the screenie, the "enable enemy unit selection" is still greyed out, but now it is checked.

    Hey,

    So for example i start starcraft, in the options i put "Enable enemy unit selection" checked. When i start my custom map i can't select enemy units, i got to options to see if the "Enable enemy unit selection" is checked. Then i notice that even though in the main menu i had it checked, when im in the options during my custom map the "Enable enemy unit selection" is unchecked and greyed out so that i can't click it. So what did i do to my map that it forces the "Enable enemy unit selection" to be unchecked and greyed out in the options?

    Wow, like, thanks a lot! i pressed ctrl+t and things went back to normal, then i did the object thing so the terrain cells not hiding anymore. But now i change to braxis alpha, and i still cant remove those textures next to the platform floating in space like in the screenshot, its so weird cause i have done it before like 2 years ago, stil cant figure out how to remove those tiles from space.

    wow im so stupid, thank you so much, i just use the hide terrain cells to hide the stupid floating tiles! yes, you had already said it! thank you!

    Hi,

    So i have this skybox of nice space but i just havent been able to remove the ground texture, i tried enabling the hide lowest level thing, but it doesnt do anything, also in screen shot 1 you can see how it looks in the editor, then when i test the map there is suddenly a hole in my platform??? i'm so confused why i can't remove the texture next to the platforms, i used to be able to :/ and also why is the editor showing me different things then when i press ctrl-f9 and look in the map???

    Am i just an idiot or do most of the units have a data field which says "kill display" that shows the amount of kills the unit has made in the commandcard when set to "default" or "always"?

    I dunno how this thingy work but i think u could also do something like make a model actor, find a model with a circle or glowy thing, or the same model the pylon uses, scale the model to the desired size(the range of the pylon) and then attach the actor to the pylon unit, i think with site operation. anyways im just trying to help, i tried something like it before, not exactly this. hope it helps with ideas.

    LOL thank you man, im so stupid, like really, i just had to remove it from the dependencies and save the map....

    BTW if i have a modfile and i want to use only the upgrades, requirements and abilities from the modfile but not the units and actors, any idea on how i can do that?

    Het thx for the reply, i don;t think a screenshot of the dependencies will help out, i mean, you'll only see that i loaded a mod for the map called framework.sc2mod which i made myself once and added it as a dependency to the map. The main awnser im looking for is, can you remove a .sc2mod file from your map so it doenst need the modfile anymore and doesnt overwrite the stats of the units and abilities. For example, i open the map without the modfile my marine is called Marine and has default base stats, but this makes the map not publishable becus im not using the modfile. Then i load the modfile, my marine changes name to "wave2" and has different stats becus it overriding the standard marine with a marine i made in a tower defense map from the modfile my map uses.

    Hello!

    I have been away from starcraft 2 for over a year but felt like i need to update my map again but i got some shutty problems. When i was working on my maps a long time ago, i thought, wow lets put all the abilities and units i have made in 1 big file so i can load it as a dependency in every map i make so i wont have to redo stuff. So i did that and kinda stopped working on sc2 then. Now i opend an old map i want to work on and it says, hey dude look you have made some mod file and its not there, i cant load it... OK.. So i found the .sc2mod somwhere on my computer, published it, loaded it into the map, and eveything was fine... Then i start looking at the base stats of the units, and it seems that the mod file has overwritten a lot of basic stats from marines and zergling and shit all kind of units. So the problem is, i am actually not using stuff from the mod file in this map but it is still asking for the modfile cause i have add it as dependency at 1 point to try out some stuff. Anyways i want to remove this mod file from this map so that my units are normal stats again, and the edtir doesnt ask for the mod file everytime i open or publish the map, possible?

    BTW. this is not my real account, i tried to recover it, but no success -.-
