In this tutorial I cover how you can create your own custom weapons for your games for FPS or TPS games. The same principles could be applied to any other weapon you want to create, for instance on a tower defense map you could do the same but trigger the weapon with an ability.
In this tutorial I will go over how to create a range indicator like the siege tank has in siege mode. I will also cover the basics of adding effects to your spells and buffs through the data editor.
This is a followup to my range indicator tutorial, this is an improved way of making range indicators (and other effects) without the need of triggers.
In this rather long tutorial I create an advanced unit spawning system. I also cover some rather advanced trigger topics so even if you know how to create the basics of a unit spawning system you might want to watch it.
In particular custom actions, functions and threading will be covered.
I also show off a bit of my own tower defense map and included a download link for that further down in this description.
In this series I cover the basics of creating a dialog, the dialog I create is based on a request I got on my profile. It's a dialog for character selection for two different player teams, each team should only be able to select each character once.
I also cover conditions and functions in the trigger editor.
In this tutorial I cover how you can make a thruster for your units, this makes the unit gradually speed up over time when a button is pressed. Then once the button is released it will gradually slow down before coming to a halt
Something seems to be wrong with the video you uploaded, it is unreadable for me even in 720p or 1020p. Also if you could it would be great if you uploaded your finished map somewhere so we can try it out ourselves quickly without following the 30 minute tutorial.
Other than that, great work. Was thinking about doing a video tutorial on the same subject but will skip it now.
Did you try using fullscreen? I had no other complaints like that, that being said I plan on upping them on youtube sometime when I get time to convert them to HD MPEG format.

If I apply this fix to my map and later add new stuff to it, I have to repeat the entire process I presume?

Sadly youtube doesn't let me upload in HD and it is hard to follow the video in low def.
