@nolanstar: Go Thanks for the heads up. I don't feel like adding Bone Wasp to this mod, I don't see a good role for it. Zerg already have Scourges and possibly Devourers (if we ever get a Devourer model). I'm waiting to add the Viper, I already have all the abilities set up and working, again I'm only waiting for a good model, that may never come until it's too late.
I actually have it as a base defense unit spawned by the queen. The queen will create a wasp clutch by casting said ability on a single building, giving it a permanent wasp clutch attached to the structure that spawns bone wasps the same way a carrier spawns interceptors. They cost nothing but time, although that may be imbalanced. Maybe an ability like that would work?
@nolanstar: Go I have no idea why nobody made a Devourer yet. But I'd say the Corruptor isn't a good base model. The Mutalisk itself is the best base model, because Devourers had a similar but fatter shape, divided in segments just like the Mutalisk. Main differences are the wings and the lack of a tail mouth. The head is flattened but in some old renders looked somewhat alike the mutalisk head with more spikes. Id make one myself if I where good enough with Blender.
That and the devourer had arms. The face resembled the guardian's, but not obviously so on the sprite.
Sudden changes like that actually do happen in nature. The permafrost line in the tundras is actually very visible due to the forests just stopping at more or less the same point.

In the project I'm planning, bone wasps spawn from a defensive attachment to any building called a wasp clutch, spawned by queens.
As for what Blizzard wanted to do with them, beats me. Could've been what came from buildings before broodlings did.

@GhostNova91:
Thanks mate! I actually like the idea and will be including a (hopefully) nuanced rendition of the Gestalt in the my project.

Simple request: Gestalt, the protoss/terran hybrids created by the Dominion.

Why it was brought up beats me.

Yes he could. If he makes the model in an external program, he can charge you whatever he wants, regardless of what he personally uses it for.

I'll be making good use of these in my project.

I love how dripping with smug entitlement this post is.

Lovely terrain, though. Keep up the good work.

And I don't have enough time to change the sounds to the mixed sounds they currently are, which I prefer.

If you don't like the sounds they use, and it's easy to fix and you've done it before, why don't you do it?

@Domper:
What he said.

That model would look awesome as a queen's nest. I would love if you uploaded it.
