Also, im not 100% sure. but in the making of my map i tried using some of the animations in that list. and MOST didnt work, i dunno about all. but for s sure fire way, and im 100% sure it'll allow u to do everything you need to with animations, i use:
Attack, Dance, Ready, Spell, Spell End, Death, Walk, Dead
i use DANCE for any animation that i'd consider as "other" like a "stunned" animation, or a knockdown, or a battle cry or something like that. hope this helps someone
I'm also trying to get animations to work, but I am having little success. For example, I am trying to make the Lich King make a casting animation when using a spell; however, all that he does is plays another idle standing position animation.
Do you know how I could use triggers or the data editor to.. force him to change animations for a set period of time?
Is there a way that you can choose to use a certain animation for an action. Like... Is there a way I can switch the animations so that the model uses its casting animation when it attacks, rather than its normal attack animation?
I can't do anything about the size of the texture, but if you specify, I could make a version of the model with less animations and the .m3 would be of less size.

I know that must have taken a lot of time and work, which is why I feel partially guilty asking this favor. For the Ysera model, is it possible to compress it down at all? I have it in my map and some of the textures take around 4megs before I compress the map.
