    @Zarakk

Most of the requests were from me, but since then I have had a lot of them fulfilled. Anyways, here is a list of what has been posted last week which still needs exporting, and my own requests:

The Demon Form (Demonolgy worklock transformation) model without the lines coming from his hands. I had a friend export it, and the model was buggy. I am wondering if someone more experienced can re-export it so that it does not look so weird. Atiesh, or a similar model (the demon, not the staff). I have seen him exported, but with a big crystal lodged in his back. A working copy would be greatly appreciated. Armor models were requested for shoulder pieces by someone. If there is a model for it, Leotharis the Blind, or a look alike. I do not think he used the Blood Elf base, but I could be wrong. Illidan Demon Form, unless that crashes the game too.

Interior and exterior props and buildings. I aleady have quite a few, but more are always nice. The sword Thundery Fury Satyrs, the coolest one's you can find. The Fel Orc models with the weapons and armor attached. I know they exist, but the person exporting them for me earlier named the animations wrong. Some one requested actual tileset models from WoW. Also, it would be nice if these used .dds files to save space.

Skyboxes are awesome when paired with water, but performance sometimes takes a rather large hit for players. Nevertheless, this image is taken from my map, "Cortex Roleplay - Bleak Wood Temple".

    posted a message on Help!

Hello. I have recently published a map, Cortex Roleplay - Bleak Wood Temple. With it were 3 dependencies, Yeti1Mod, Yeti2Mod, and Cortex Tool Kit .12. Recently I created a new mod, and a friend published it for me, Yeti3. All of the "Yeti" mods are simply imported WoW models and skins, and models made for them. Tonight I added Yeti3 as a dependancy, but alas, it causes my game to crash when I selected the map from a list of maps, such as the list of "my published." Please someone help!

    @theSixthGate: Go

Be careful when you are editing the cliff fog, however, as, from my experiance, the settings are VERY sensitive, and it is easy to back one's self into an undesirable fog, and not easy to back one's self out.

Telthalion it is! Again, thank you, alot. You have not only made my dreams come true, you have also made the dreams of th 5 people who will ever play this map come true!

(Just Kidding, its more like 100, heh). Ayways, check out the map when it is released folks, I will update you here, and, in the mean time, post any new screens!

It should take a week or so for it to be done.

Oh Joy! Ironically, I found the flayer, but some of his animations are wanky, though, Anywhoo, I will take the grey version, with the tentical whip attack, and standard walk stand death and general channeling. All three dwarf models posted will work fine, and their colors in the screen are fine. For animations, walk, stand, death, and one handed weapon swing should all be fine. Brown hair for the dwarf.

As for buildings, (screen 1), the grey statue with the two hammers, and the Iron Forge Exterior on the far right.

And for the last screen.... The big gate in the back, all three thrones, the black anvil, the tables, one iron bar gate (no preference which), the pillar/tourch thing in the middle of the tables, and the brazier.

Thank you alot. This is VERY helpful. For the credits/recognition on the loading Screen, is Tethalion fine? Again, thanks. These will be great for not only the dwarf stuff, but also drow and other such things.

Anyways, here is a picture of what I have competed in terms of a dwarf area, though, now, this is sure to change!

Anywhom you can contact me, usually almost anytime during the afternoon, just go to the roleplaying channel, my name is Yeti. Again, thanks alot!

P.S., If you happen to find Slabhide or Chorubus in there....I would gladly have them too. Standard walk, death, attack (a claw and a breath) animation, and stand.

P.S.S. If you ever want a terrain built, I can do it. As far as data goes, I really know very little, and the same goes for triggers. Heh, oh how easy is it to make terrains for cortex :D @Telthalion: Go

Here are some models I would likely to kindly request for a map (underground theme)

Edit: Someone offted to export the dwarf models, and thus I no longer need them.

Anyways, I believe one can export armor models (and then I can attach them in the editor). If this is so, the T3 Warrior Armor, Dread Naught, would be nice, plus a Thunderfury (Blessed Blade of the Wind Seeker), unless it is already in the sword pack (in which case, ignore that part).

Edit: found slab hide, found chorbus.

interior doodads, chairs, book cases, ect, would all be nice.

Wow, very nice. Thanks for these pictures! Bah, I need to find some more custom building models. I do not have WoW nor will I put it on my computer (being an adult, I know that that game will end my social life, and ect ect), so, as I understand it, I cannot use those models. Oh well, that hall way will have to make an appearance :D

Anyways, if any of you can export a WoW model, dwarves and this guy

    (Mindflayer!)

    Would be really nice.

Well, here is an additional screen. Not really done yet, I am not getting the "subterranean lake with drow/strange palace on the shores look I want, but it is certainly on its way! Hmm, now how shall I put in that prison? And whom shall have the prison? Yes, a mine will work well too. I want to keep it sci fi fantsy neutral, but often dwarves are seen with pretty complex mining machinery, even why their best weapon is some *enchanted* axe. Hrm, hrm.

Now I have to make some dwarven city with that....

    Thanks guys,.

A prison? Yes! That's perfect. I have been thinking about a mine, also. I will keep you folks updated, I wish I had time to do a few more of the WTE's, lots of great ideas there. As for a cavey section, I am devoting a good quarter of the map to some sort of cave with water which will slowly become more volcanic like.

Anywho, I can post new up coming themes as they come for more suggestions. I kill keep this thread updated with screens and the like, also. I have three other terrains released, one being Cortex Roleplay - Crete. I happened to really like classical studies, and my room mate majored in classics, and after seeing the Hellas WTE, I thought that a Crete map would be cool.

    (Edit)

Hmm, I need to go look at some pictures involving drow.....

posted a message on Yeti needs your creative ideas

Hello all. I know I have not posted much (I need to get into a few more of the WTEs!) but I was hoping for a little help. The map I am working on is a Cortex Roleplay map (http://cortexrp.com/beta/). I have posted a few completed screens below, so you get some of what I have completed. The theme of the map is a dungeon set inside the firey heart of an active volcano. Since Cortex uses the standard 3rd person over head camera, I will not be making roofs over everything. The map is meant to allow players to use the cortex engine to make for themselves a nice traditional dungeon crawl, or make a story within the heart of the Volcano.

Creation of the map was going great, until I hit a little writers block, so to speak. What I need are some ideas for areas with in the volcano. Post below are a few screens of things I have put in. For example, a small temple with water within which lava has encroached upon. Another area is a massive bridge set over a chasm with lava at the bottom.

So, I need some ideas for cool stuff that any underground lava like map should have. The map is supposed to have a somewhat fantasy feel to it (I have two mods full of WoW models for it), but now I have ran out of ideas. So, anything you folks can think of would be excellent!

(P.S.) Before someone asks: I have viewed WTE Under The Mountain, well, I have viewed all of them a bunch of times, so I know there is tons of creativity on this forum.

Anyways, thanks for any and all ideas.

posted a message on Importing .dds textures

Hello, I have been searching for some sort of instructions for importing .dds files, not .tga files, but .dds files, and getting them to stick on the model. The .tga import method, .tga, move to root, then save and close and reopen the editor, then import the model, does not work for me. Any help would be appreciated.

Some interior models, tables, bookcases, ect, would be very nice to have. Also, a few Naga models, some silver pine, prehaps, trees (some dead looking European tree of any kind, Tarsonis trees look like paper on extreme settings), and, if you can, buildings similar to that Azjol Nerub Facade! (It was very nice!)

    Thanks alot!

posted a message on Weekly Terraining Exercise #24: The great indoors

Well, here is my first time posting on this board. I wish I had done so early, as I published a map, Cortex Roleplay - Crete, which was, well, entirely greek themed! To bad I didn't do so during the Hellos thread, as it was a really cool one. Oh well, the images are in this album, taken from a map I am working on, Cortex Roleplay - Derelict. The theme is a partially destroyed/abandoned vessel, I hope you all like. Any feedback you post really helps!
