posted a message on The Fallen RPG (Looking for new developers)

-link to project page: http://www.sc2mapster.com/maps/fallen-rpg/ -seeking experts/professional map makers

Reason: -in general i haven't been active on sc2 for over a year, same with this project due to loss of interest, thinking that eventually i would get back to working on this project now that i have a new faster computer, which didn't happen, so id like or hope someone could finish this one for me. -On the project link (http://www.sc2mapster.com/maps/fallen-rpg/) it generally says all that's done/needs to be done, features, and it has some pitctures

Description/features: this is a first person viewed RPG with many unique features including (already in the game): -a menu/dialog where you can change your hot keys -Advanced spawning techniques (enemy units wont spawn if they are in your sight radius but will spawn in random locations in regions) -health bars -fully unique items that have different properties every time they drop (like diablo 3 does) -Probably some other stuff that i would remember in game -32 Different Enemy Types -8 Bosses -9 Sub-Bosses -150+ Items (Thats Just Equippedable Items Such As Armour And Weps) -6 Hero Types -60 Levels

Your job: -finish the project and perfect it!

-some of the features you'll need to include are: -Hero Abilities -Storyline (On The Works) -Shop Merchants -Saving/Save Keeper -Terrain (Tweaking) -Achievements -Banking (basics are setup) -And anything else you can think of/find

-Whats been done: -Hot Key Settings -Certain Dialogs -First Person Viewed Camera -Enemy Names/Placement Area Whereabouts -Hero Selection -Terrain -Hero Inventories -Hero Level Ups -Enemy Stats -Custom Enemy Boss Bars -Items

Whats in it for you? -the thrill to complete and release a massive project that has the capability of getting to the number one spot with some good marketing/advertising (the top 10 without a doubt) -the option to set up a donating site (keyword donate not buy), and if you do that all id ask is for 50% of donations go to me

I'm interested, what do i do now? -post a comment about yourself, your experience, and any links you your projects demonstrating your skill -i will then reply and if it all works out i will show you the game on sc2 and well discuss it etc, and if your ready for it ill send you the map

Any questions? -feel free to ask, but the one thing i do ask of you is don't forget to mention me in the loading screen and once you start, (if you go for more than a week), i ask that you don't stop till its complete

posted a message on Loading Screen Freeze Glitch (Solved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

For The Last Few Days, I Have Been Witnessing A Glitch On My RPG Map Where The Game Freezes At 90% Into The Loading Screen. I Have Searched And Searched But Came Upon No Sucess Until I Finally Figured It Out. People Have Told Me That The Map Was To Big, My Computer Didn't Contain Enoguh Ram Etc. But That Was Not The Problem. The Problem FIrst Occured When I Started To Add Regions To My Map, But That Was NOT The Problem, The Problem Was In The TRIGGERS! There Was A Recent Trigger That I Added To Go With The Regions, And It Was A Forever Action, WIth A Wait 0.1 Seconds At The End Of It. After Constantly Testing I Descovered That The Forever Was The Problem, And It Either Needed A Bigger Wait Period, Or It Needed To Be Removed. In My Earlier Exploration I Also Descovered That In The Section At The Top, MAP>Map Options, In That Area Theres An Option, Disable Trigger Pre-Loading. It Is Naturally Off, Meaning That The Forever Action/Trigger Runs Before The Map Even Starts Which Is What Was Causing This Very Wierd Glitch! Remember, When You Are Using Forever Actions, Be VERY CAREFUL AND CAUTIOUS! It Sure Gave Me A Scare :/

posted a message on The Paraplegic Realm (Uncomplete Atm)

Hello Everybody, This Is A New Map That I Have Been Working On For Ahwhile Based Off Of/Remake Of One Of My Favourite Games: Parasite. I Am Currently Working On It Up TO This Date But I Need A Little Help, Specifically With Making An AMAIZING Video Of The Map, And I Need Some Artwork Done To For The Loading Screen And Game Image.

For English We Were Writing Our Own Creative Short Stories And I Sorta Made One Based Off Of The Map, Not Entirely But This Is Basicaly The Main Storyline Of The Game Up To A Certain Point (Warning Im Not The Best At English! :P):

It was the year 2142, after a successful landing on Carnea, there has been a loss of communication with space shuttle X-492. 13 hours later, the communication has been re-connected manually, but someone is missing. Ex-Pilot and Co-Astronaut Rick Lynaus has disputed from the command control center to search for the problem, but has not returned or contacted us since the connection was restored. The remaining astronauts have decided to split up into 3 separate search teams. The first group is going to check the lower end of the space shuttle, the second team will check the outside and patrol around the rest of the space ship, and meanwhile the third team will stay in the upper half in case he manages to return.
42 minutes has passed by, the second search team has returned back into the space ship with news, they have recovered his body beside an ancient rock, and his space suit was drenched in blood. The ever more frightening thing is that the blood remains inside the space suit, without any signs of any cuts from him, neither are there any tears in the space suit. We quickly decided to stop hesitating and to bring him out of the space suit and into the infirmary as soon as possible. Once that was done we hooked him up to the dissection table and started to analyze both him and the blood that was on top of his body. Startled, we discovered that his brain was still fully functioning, but his heart was completely disabled. We then checked out the blood, it was somehow uncontrollably still alive, and as we took a closer look at where the majority of it was located, we found that it was 20 times smaller than normal human blood, and that it was somehow leaking through his skin. His face was beginning to turn extremely pale as the minutes were passing, and my partner who was running the tests with me has appeared to have blacked out in the other corner of the laboratory. I ran over to him, his heartbeat was slowing down as the seconds past and eventually stopped but surprisingly no blood has appeared. I tried to take a sample of the blood in his skin, but shockingly none was recovered.
Here I am now, sitting in the spaceships laboratory trying to figure out what could possibly be going on. I tried to contact my comrades, the team that was searching the outside of the space ship showed no signs of responding, but thankfully the other search team was still intact and responded immediately. They replied stating that they cannot communicate with the other search team either, but they were near the laboratory and firmly stated that they were on their way. I furiously replied with, “NO! It’s too dangerous and this *infection* shows possible signs of being contagious and possibly lethal in the air.” I myself have not even taken my helmet off since the time of the landing, and I decided not to. I also warned the others about this and they said that they had no helmets on them since the warp jump, so they agreed to my warning and went off to find some helmets immediately. Then before be broke communication again, I asked where they were when the spaceship landed, they claimed they were in section F-472, also known as the respiratory room, or in other cases the animal dissection room.
After minutes of critical thinking I came to 2 remaining options, the first option is to go investigate section F-472 and decide what to do from there based on my findings, or I stay here and learn more about what is happening to my partner and the cause of Rick’s death. I came to my first conclusion, I must investigate F-472, but first I’ll activate a full security lockdown system in order to keep everyone in their current position. It will also shut down every room in this space ship, making it literally impossible to access this lab and any other rooms unless you have a star-Y key which only the fleet commanders like me have. I exited the laboratory, slicing the key through every door until I approached my destination. On the way, I noticed a constant dimming of the lights, and presumed that this was caused by lack of power from the lockdown, but it could also be the cause of the radiation of this planet. As I was approaching the room, I saw a small trace of blood leaking through the metal door. I crouched down and took a closer look at the blood; it was boiling and acting very suspicious in a way such as the blood on top of Rick’s body. I started o slowly creep into the room, but it was too dark for me to see so I was forced to flick on the emergency lights in the room. As I was turning on the lights, I felt what seemed like death’s breath, slowly travelling down my spinal cord.
As I looked around I found the cause of something that has taken the life of my crew, and what would soon take my next. What I saw in the center of the room cannot be described, it had unknown features that we didn’t even know existed, but what I could describe was the background of the room. Apart from this tremendous creature, from what I saw was that the boiling blood contains, or what is human body’s, including the bones. The rest of the room was covered in this stuff, including the shattered windows, and what would appear to be a Descente grated floor. Although this type of blood does not come from just anywhere, it came from my unresponsive search team, most likely the one that was supposed to be searching outside. I now know that I am not going to escape, and that my life was coming to a slow, painful, horrifying end. There was no way out, and the only thing that could help save the lives of many more to come, is to blow up the entire ship. The command room contains a self-destruct sequence, and is located about a 2 minute run from my current position, and I decided to try to succeed rather than becoming this things next experiment. As I was running to the control room, the power completely shut off making the self-destruct button inaccessible until full power has been restored.
Time is running out and I am running out of options, if I have any hope to die without an enormous amount of pain and suffering, I must head to the power room, figure out the problem, and restore power before it is too late. This disruption of lack of power is now forcing me to head to the other side of the ship which is about 7 minutes from here, and another 6 minutes in order to return back to the command center. Who knows what I’ll find there, so I started to run in that direction once again. After the first turn around the corner, I slipped on what appeared to be an oil-like substance. Since there was no accessible light in these hallways, I could only use my bare eyes to determine what everything is, therefore making it impossible to determine where the source or what this substance actually is. I struggled to get back up, only to fall back down, and after a few failed attempts to get back up, I heard the most devastating screech that was so unbearably loud that it forced me to fall flat on the floor and cover my ears with such a force that I could feel blood seeking out of my ears and into my hands. I stopped struggling when the sound finally faded away; I quickly looked behind me only to see nothing but pure darkness. I tried to slide forwards and thankfully it was working, but disgusting because it I was swimming in a substance that I was unaware of. As I reached the other end of this muck, I was stopped by a door, it was the power room.
I heard another terrifying screech from the darkness behind me, so I incautiously opened the door, ran to the other end of the room and pulled down the first lever that I could feel. The power turned back on! Strangely though as the lights were turning back on, time slowed 10 times slower than normal, I began to lose my sense of touch and my skin was covered in a blood-covered slime. The next few seconds were indescribable, but in the end the light got un-see ably bright, and the world around me became blurred into the light. What has just happened was a combination of the most exciting, amazing, fearful, and painful moment of my life for I am now one of them.

@illidans911: Go lol thanks :D i always sucked at doing this stuff :P anyways for the map locations....

-the top right corner is the furniture shop where the items to buy from there increase your income

-the middle top ish part of the map is a gun shop where you can buy guns for your main character

-the middle part under taht and the bottom middle-ish area are reseraunts where the items you buy there will either increase your max life, instantly heal you, or increase your life regeneration (after 5 seconds of combat) and they also increase your main characters size to!

-the top left corner is the electronic shop and the items you buy in there help detect stuff, such as the television set tells you todays and tomorrows weather, the transmitter enables you to make alliances, and the rest detect other players actions such as the computer will tell you who is buying what

-the middle left area is the car shop where you can buy cars, use them for transportation, shooting out of (when stopped) and some even have an auto-matic weapon attached to them

-and the bottom left area is the gang/bar where you can buy mercenaries to help fight wars for you

this is a very fun map and can be used for roleplaying to! (Works best with full-house)(fun wise)
