Projects are still on going although the shuriken is giving me hell right now, i keep converting it from "editable mesh" to "Editable Poly" to "Editable mesh" again to do what i need to do. 3Dsmax its fidgety like that Q.Q. I wish i could turn the mesh into a spline so every time i move a vertex it wont move the unwanted ploy attached to it >:(
Trokka sorry i haven't been on lately, i just got my ps3 and was finishing up bioshock 2. Im am truly sorry for keeping you waiting but it will be just a bit longer kk?
Status update: Got the mercenary to hold the gun and now I'm depolying the trigger on the gun so i can have it move back and forth in animation.
Edit: I'm having trouble with nintoxicated texture import when concerning particles for .m3 files

The art assets was a forum for people to post there already done art. Weather it be models, Textures or even icons.
This is just a reminder and is meant for people to stop posting questions like how to do something. That type of setup for a question goes here .
no u could not because of many reasons, one being that it looks nothing like the preserver model and two because this model has blades on its arms and a well defined body. Another reason is that actors attached to actors creates lag, even if its a small amount of lag, it still adds up and for poor quality.
For future reference please don't post "Walk arounds" for i am planning to Model this in 3dsmax 2012
Sadly, people here just "don't have enough time" to do favors, for the public, and people who cant afford 2000 dollars on 3Ds max, wish I had it, but cant afford it, sorry... You could use the infesed marine model for raynor thoough, just make him colored dark grey, and boo ya!
um, lol their are ALOT of modelers on SC2mapster that due custom models to the asking people and who said anything about PAYING for max? ;)
Make sure you have nin's latest script for 3Dsmax which you can get here
in this version of nin's script, you can add attachment points to anywhere you want weather it be bones or free floating, just be sure to name the "Helper model"
Thanks for your input, i will attach a light to the gun. With the light, what animations would you like it on or off?
Like say
Attack (Light on or off?)
Stand (Light on or off?)
Walk (Light on or off?)
As for the particle question: a particle system can be anywhere from a fire to a transformation of 1 object to another, to a cloud
Edit: Lights and particle systems are effected by animations and are controlled by them. Although starcraft 2 has a feature where if you set your graphics to low then lights are not shown to the user but are still rendered in game and the same thing goes for the particle systems, textures ect.

Sure, can do but right now im at a standstill. The mercenary model loaded perfectly and i can animate it.
The gun "Model & Textures" loaded perfectly but the particle textures wont attach to the bullets and there for im having particle issues

Acc the corrupter's tail is a ribbon which is not supported yet by nins .max script.
Its tail in other terms is a animated 2D texture and moves along with the physics of the game and always faces the camera
