This seems like a nice map, and giving people heroes will boost their willingness to take over for them if you become unable to. Also, I would wait until after Heart of the Swarm to release it. I don't know why, but I just have this feeling that it would be better to wait.
When I make rotation SOps for my units, I make 2 kinds. Shoulder and Head. If its shoulder, I make one model for each shoulder and attach it as such. If I make it for the head, I make one. However, for my head attachments (and only them), when the base unit turns 180 degrees, the attachment turns 360 degrees. I have fiddled with the 'Hold Rotation' and 'Hold Position' booleans for the Rotate SOp and the Site.
Well, yea, I assumed as much, but I didn't know how to link the Create Persistent with the actors and beam. I set a bunch of offsets in the persistent so that it made a sector, though. I just can't get the flames to launch from the source to those offsets. It currently launches in the direction that the marine's gun is facing.
If you could direct me to a tutorial, that would be equally as helpful (as long as it is relevant to this specific instance, of course)

I think the photoshopped part is the sun glare, but yea, you can probably put a planet in without photoshop.

Ah... Well, I found the problem, it was actually that I didn't put any values for the rotation SOp. Sorry.

I tried that, but it just did the same thing as "Hold Rotation", which makes it face the same direction no mater which direction the base unit faces.
