That's what I have as well. I did have a concurrent folder in My Documents, but I deleted it. Didn't change anything, the game still can't find the dependency.
So I tried that, it seems like a great campaign indeed. I can launch the maps, but they can't find each other (so the launcher is useless for me). Not sure why either.
In the good news department I found how to easily launch a map! You can launch them with the SC2Switcher.exe that comes in the StarCraft II\Support folder! It's much better than opening the very cumbersome editor every time.
Well, apparently I'm just terrible at this. I've downloaded three campaigns : Loomings and StarCraft Mass Recal, that use the SCMRmod and Biotech that uses the BioTechFiveMod and BioTechOneMod mod files.
I've put the maps in StarCraft II\Maps and the mods in StarCraft II\Mods. In all cases the editor tells me it can't find the dependency in \mods, despite the files appearing in the file editor (I can even open the mods).
Do you guys see what I missed? Thanks in advance.
The way to do this is either by dragging the map onto the SC2 executable, or by simply launching it in the editor and then using the 'test map' function.
The first system is what I used to do, but now it just open that Battle Net thing they added a few patches back. I'll try using the editor, thanks. I can't believe there isn't a simpler way to play a custom campaign though...
Ever been in a situation where something was so evident to everyone but you that it wasn't explained anywhere? I've been trying for 20 minutes to run the maps I've downloaded, no success. I couldn't find anything on you guy's wiki about it. Obviously SC2 isn't made for custom games, so how do you run the campaign? I'm so sorry if I missed an enormous sticky thread somewhere explaining the procedure, I swear that I looked for it.
