    Hard to say really whether to move on or not. I am in the same situation. I released beta version of my TD map back in Nov and got pretty good reception. got some email and feedbacks. Then I took it off for some updates. Then I released it again in Dec. And nobody plays it anymore...

    Thinking whether to move on to the new map or continue adding 2nd builder type... I have another map in mind as well...

    I tried to put myself in neutral position. I think that TD genre is so 2000 and late. It's dead. Like racing genre. The trend has shifted, unless you can make a really really cool innovation on TD.

    If you notice. none of the TD made it to the top. Even Endercraft can only do that much. Mercy TD can only reach that level.

    The audience looks to have changed as well. Perhaps most SC1, WC3 player are old now and they no longer play SC2. The new generations doesn't embrace TD, RPG, Strategic/Tactical custom game. They love Tug of Wars and 1 Million Zergling, 1 Million Ultralisk.

    Or perhaps those players who embrace TD, RPG, or Strategic/Tactical game are still enjoying Melee maps?

    Hard to tell...

    Even Blizzard's map that has lava going up every few mins is now gone.

    And I am willing to bet. Blizzard's Map Aiur Chef will not succeed unless Blizzard features it.

    Starjeweled will do well as it is tug of war essentially. Left 2 Die debatable. I think it won't do that well.

    Blizzard All-Stars won't show up for a while looks like. But this one will stay on top.

    You see my bet? Tug of War, DotA will last. Cute, out of the box map like Aiur Chef will die.

    Oh oh oh oh!!! I was about to make this kind of map as well!! But I am currently working on TD style game. But since you're already making it oh well, I'll just focus on my TD. And I'll be glad to help if you want. Good luck with it. Your preview looks good! Keep it up! Can't wait! I am currenlty also playing pokemon emerald just got the HM Dive. I'll help testing for sure if u're in US server.

    @dgh64: Go might be not clean but do it via trigger. if current shield = 0, set max shield = 0 might remove it from showing

    Anyone played this map? It was released back in Nov, reaching steady 150-300 games. Then I took it off for major updates, then reaching 200 games then I just took it off again for next major final updates in the next few weeks.

    If you have played, please let me know what do you guys think. I am thinking to kill the project if nobody likes it... Help me decide here. Don't be afraid to be honest. If you think this map sucks it's fine let me know. It will help me so much to move on to next idea.

    Loving the presentation, with chinese characters on hero selection screen lolz!

    Some input:

    - This game has glitch Mephs. i.e. often the game won''t spawn any of the hero and stuck. Have to remake. Not sure why but I have encountered this couple of times. Especially when it say Action 2 times.

    - Raynor (Assault) is the worst. 1300 HP is too low. The grenede is useless. 50 Ammo? are you SERIOUS? 3 seconds and out of ammo. the ultra combo is lame as well. Balancing is totally needed. Never win with this piece of junk. Maybe I use it wrong

    - Fury count should be bar as well imo. Just like in Street Fighter. So you can check enemies ultra combo and be prepared.

    Those are values which define how long it takes to RECHARGE one charge.

    Those are values that control ability cooldown.

    DOH! I put the Time Use in Charge - Time Use. That's why I was like WTH?!?! Thx uiasdnmb

    I want my ability to have 3 charge and 3 charge only. Sorta like Scroll of Town Portal or other scroll of magic. Use it and gone. I tried putting Charge Max 3. Charge Start 3. Charge use 1. But then it keeps cooling down if you give cooldown. How to make it cooling down after use but will not recharge whatsoever??

    I have abilities system that mimics WC3. You can learn and level up the abilities up to Level 3. But then the effect of the abilities needs to be executed via Trigger. How do you know/get the Level index of the Ability?

    I have tried: Any Unit uses ability Event but then it would not know which level your ability is currently at. I want each level to have different Trigger effect but I am stuck at getting the Level index. Help!!
