Don't listen to them. The new changes are AMAZING, brings so much more to the map. Floor looks awesome, so does the wall barrier, new ships are sweet and I LOVE the new options. BRILLIANT.
It takes ALOT of doodads to slow down a machine like mine, you might want to think about optimizing the terrain then, because if I'm having problems then 70% of the rest of the community is going to be having worse problems with the lag.
It's ALOT better then nexus wars. But my problem is that it lags SOOO bad I couldn't even play it single player vs AI. I've got a AMD Opteron 2.7 Quadcore, 8 gigs of ram and a 1 gig MSI Hawk Radeon video card so running SC2 isn't a problem. You might check your AI code and make sure everything is optimized. Once you get that lag figured out I'll play the crap outa this!
Ugh I cringe every time I see "lagless" input. No amount of data/trigger editor trickery is going to get rid of the latency between client -> server -> client. You must have read into programmer's lagless data input thread to discover it is not lagless? I love the FPS ideas and kudos for the work that the guys put into it but as it stands this type of game cannot work on SC2's battle.net. Perhaps you have a good connection to the server but for those of us with a latency over the 200ms mark (and that makes up a surprising amount of the b.net population) these games become completely unplayable.
How about they get their heads out of their asses and link EVERYONE, fuck this shit, it's even stupider to link a couple areas then none at all. Fuck my life.

I think you can grab a players name and id number for storage in strings now, I hope so anyway.

Those functions dont support unit groups or player groups.
You'll have to loop through each player and run the function.

There's a condition Point In Region
Use that and loop through all the regions then do the action.
You're not gonna get any lag out of simple if then checks.

Keyinput is way to laggy to have an Alien Swarm type map.

Bomberling is a 4player FFA game in the style of Bomberman.
You maneuver your character around a randomly generated map dropping bombs and blowing stuff up.
I've uploaded it to the NA servers and you can find it under the name Bomberling
Ill be working on polish now, but if anyone finds any bugs, let me know.

You can also use Text Actors to achieve this effect. That's what the campaign vespene refinery does.
Both work though, you just have some options :D
