I am using the Dominion Kill Team as a model for one of my heroes in a map I am making. Before patch 1.2 everything was working great. I had some abilities that would use the models left attack, right attack or both attacks or even switch off attacks. Now post 1.2 it seems the DominionKillTeam model is totally broken. Most of his attack animations aren't firing correctly and the ones that are do not even clear even when manually sending actor messages like "AnimClear Attak0ld" or "AnimClear AttackLeft" etc etc. Anyone else been having these issues? What the hell did Blizzard do to make this so BROKEN?!?!
I'm glad that they also allowed copy and paste of upgrade values.
On another note, has anyone been experiencing really strange sizing issues with dialog text labels? It seems the patch messed with dialog items in a bad way too.
I am requesting that an admin/moderator delete some of the content I've generated here on SC2Mapster. I've been working on a project and I've drastically revamped and renamed it and I would like to scrap all of my old project's teams/map etc. I am the original author so I am not asking to delete the work of anybody else.
I'm getting pretty close to a public alpha, but before I get to that point I really need some volunteers to log some hours on this map for balances, bugs and scale stress testing. I'm still looking for help! Please contact me =] Thanks.
The only way I can think of this being possible is using Catalog Field Value Set
Basically when your unit levels up you set all of your units data into temporary variables, use Catalog Field Value Set to rename the unit to a new rank, create a new unit and then set all of its values from the stored variables. This would be insanely sloppy, but probably would work with a lot of unnecessary effort.
Figure out I have to create a site operator with an offset, but now I am trying to get that site operator to rotate with the angle of the actor, any ideas?
I was wondering if it is possible to offset the search area from the point target of an ability. I've created an ability that launches 2 missiles at a point target. One missile hits (-0.5,0) from the point target and the other one hits (0.5,0) of the target, each dealing damage. I would like the cursor splat actor to reflect both missile search areas. Got any ideas?
Well its just "Aurora" not "The Invasion of Aurora" ... either way, apologies. In addition there are a bunch of other maps with the word Aurora in them, so who knows who was really first!
