Replay you got some awesome post-apoc work! Keep it coming, I may try and interject some of my own in here if you don't mind. Would like to start doing some of this myself. Is helping a lot with ideas for my photography!

They're called skyboxes. They're in the data editor under the specific terrains skybox(right panel, top of the lift) in the data fields when you click the land you use. You shouldn't generally see them in the G.E. and your camera has to be set to maximum distance to see.

Sick! How do you get the boards over the windows? It a doodad? In fact, are most of these doodads? Like the broken building in the last pic?

Very true. Nm, thought it might be good for some intermediate people to grow with their cinematic skills perhaps.

No offence, but this map is way large. its got stuff already edited in it, and its 22mb! I dl at 1.5mb/s and thats far fetched for mostly ANY normal person, I do not suggest this many hands. Sorry to shoot down....great idea, just a bit too far off. Forgive me if I am wrong

Plain, simple, pretty much nothing to it. Just in my experience, not from greece but italy, small towns here and there. Cosy, and always lots of work being done. No implemented crowds but its always a very lively night scene.

First video I've done, this really isn't anything special. This was all done in about a half hour. More speed up's like this coming soon!!

Not very great tutorial. Its basically like you just copied all the stuff and didn't explain much. Could have simply put "duplicate" or something. For those who say wanted a medic to shoot ray beams, or a hydralisk to shoot medivac beams, this tutorial serves no purpose. The unit doesn't attack, get attacked, or do much of anything. Thumbs down sry.

    Intermediate

Hey guys, wonderful idea Mozared came up with for joint-training. This is majority the same thing, with some additions. I just wanted to gauge everyone's interest seeing that we have boss contests, and other cinematic contest etc. Will help the G.E. triggering and overall ability to grow as a map maker.

My rendition is a story telling like whisper down the lane intertwined with cinematics. I know a lot of people stand clear of cinematic maps but its a useful and fairly creative tool for RPG's and campaigns that people perhaps might be influenced by these exercises.

Style of the Training: 1.Starts off with slightly altered map and a small story 2.# of cinematics(camera views and/or changes and/or effects) 3.Editors will be given 30-60 minutes to edit since there will be triggers. 4.Intro of characters(Perhaps, might make the editing a bit too long) 5.Stick to the topic of story at hand

Let me know what you guys think about this training exercise.
