    Didn't test it yet but does it still work with 1.3? After this damn patch my whole map is destroyed so that I don't even want to do anything on it cause it would be everything right from the scratch. Thought custom Layout Files got completely useless after 1.3?

    Oh, now I just realized someone answered :D Thanks m8, but got it working, I just replaced the gas icon (I don't need it) and changed its position as well as its size. I tried doing a simple plane in 3ds max with my texture on it and replacing the original ui what didn't work, so I went this way... So as you can see in this video it worked fine but now after the patch everything is destroyed, thx blizz -.-

    Thanks so far, guess I will do it like you said ... But whats the path of the picture then? I imported it but thats all, so it's in no specific folder :o Shall I import it in the same folder where the sc2layout files are lying and whats with this GameUIData.xml? Where is it and what do I have to do with it?

    €dit: OK, I've downloaded a mpqeditor and found the GameUIData.xml, added '<CustomLayoutFileArray value="ui_02.dds"/> after the Dflt entry and nothing changed as far as I can see it :o Correct so far? What's next :D

    Hay guys, another question :D

    After completely changing the UI I want to have a new Console Panel but not on the bottom, I want to have it on the right side. But tbH I don't have a single Idea how it works. It's a new graphic and I tried to do it like it's written here http://forums.sc2mapster.com/resources/tutorials/17193-sc2layout-files-how-to-adjust-them/#posts

    But my problem is, I want to have it just as a mask behind the minimap etc without beeing attached to a specific template. The second problem is, where the heck do I get the GameUIData.xml? And I'm also not quiet sure about the trigge, guess it's something like create a dialog with x/y blabla then hiding it's background and then show something ^^

    So it would be just awesome if someone can explain me how I get this working step by step so that a noob like me understand it :D Thanks so far

    Hey guys, thanks for the tutorial so far but I've got one problem I want to move the whole Info panel like it is in SC2 to the right bottom side.

    After it just disappeard after changing the minimap and the command card I tried the files from OneTwoSCs tutorial map (great vid btW, helped me getting this all started) So now I have it on the position he has and after trying to move it again it is like the screen is splitted in two sides, I can move it around on the left side but on the right side it disappears o_O

    please help =)

    Hey guys, first of all, that sounds awesome, was looking for something like that for a while.

    But my problem is, I don't get the command bar thing working, the minimap just works fine but after including the command bar or traying to include the res bar the game crashes.

    Dunno that much bout the editor so maybe I did something wrong.

    And where do I get the info about the size of the templates?

    Hey guys, another problem appeard. I want to script an event, that when a unit of type xyz enters an area x it will get killed but it should play a specific kill anmiation. atm my unit enters the area and dies just fine, with blood etc, mmmmh, like it, but I want it to get killed with the acid death animation cause the unit enters an area of acid to example. Didn't find a trigger for that, anyone here with an idea?

    Great Tut, thanks, but how do I change the morphing animation? For my map I want a CC morphing to a CC (sounds silly but there is a reason for that :D) So after clicking the button for morphing, the building disappears, so there is no model while morphing is in progress (after morphing is complete the cc appears again), I need to see the normal CC Model then, so that none will see that anything changed.

    How do I get this working?

    thanks so far but to be honest I don't find this trigger. Would you please make an example? atM I have in (translated, using the german editor):

    event: Unit enters area whole map

    condition: unit triggering unit is owend by player 1 (didn't find anything like command card)

    then: if: unitname of triggering unit is blablablubb then: <- here is nothing like command card or in german Befehlskarte

    And the second question, does anyone have an idea?

    Hey guys,

    I want to have a unit created after clicking on the button ingame and in the same time there should be an upgrade achieved. In the editor you can add as many buttons as you want to one slot, but it does only use the first one ingame, so the unit will be created but nothing else. So is there any other possibility for this, I'm new in the editor.

    hope you can help me ;)

    ah, one probably simple question, how do I change building time for units and buildings?
