Thanks man and it won't. ;) Just wanted to move over to a project which seem more within my reach, so to speak. It's nice to know that Eiviyn ain't the typical sc2 editor. That there are nice people as well. ;)

Thanks for your understanding FenixKissK. All I wanted was for the thread to be removed.

Yeah Eiviyn your right that is so fucking funny. Straight up hilarious as hell... Well I diden't want to go into details on why I chose to abandon the project, since I diden't want to spend any more time on a project I diden't feel like doing, but since you're being a dick about it: I would have loved to remove the thread completly, but since I'm a new member of this forum I diden't know how to. I ended up locking it, leaving me unable to change the previously statement, which was supposed to tell of my lost interest in the project, rather than the interest of the SC2 community. The main problem was the amount of help needed to finish such a project. To those of you who diden't support this arrogant asshole, I salute you. To you Eiviyn, go fuck yourself with a screwdriver!

posted a message on Any fans of Ratchet and Clank?

Well I've been thinking of starting a project based on the Ratchet and Clank concept. You know - a little love-able funny main character with lots and LOTS of BIG guns with all sorts of ammo. But what is your favorite Ratchet and Clank game, Soundtrack, weapon, Villan, etc.?

Currently listening to this nostalgic theme: and making some terrain. ^^

    Who are you?

Hello my precious fellow SC2 editor and now reader. My name is Darial, I am a VERY creative and experienced WC3 editor, who dropped his jaw at the sight of the SC2 editor’s features. I’ve longed for the opportunity to create this project for a long time, but the limitations of the WC3 editor, simply made that impossible. With the limitations gone, thanks to the SC2 editor, I now only fear the gap of knowledge the differences between the WC3- and SC2 editor has left me with.

What is War of the Monster 2?

War of the Monsters 2 is a project inspired by the PS2 game War of the Monsters: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_of_the_Monsters The project revolves around the hero arena gameplay, with the concept of being a gigantic monster fighting other monsters in a great city. Godzilla (Togera) and King Kong (Congar) will be among these playable monsters, just to give you an idea of what kind of monsters we are talking about. The game will be launched with around 10 playable monsters, however 22 have already been planned so far. The monsters will be using imported models from WOW, since SC2 simply does not have the models needed for such a project. The game will feature 2 types of gameplay a launch: Team Deathmatch and Free-For-All Deathmatch. These 2 types of gameplay is based around the idé of the player having 10 lives. Upon dying at 0 lives you'll be Game Over, making the last monster/team stand the winner. Upon dying you will have the opportunity for 30 seconds to upgrade your monster's attack damage, spell damage, health, health regeneration, energy, energy regeneration, armor, resistance or movement speed, returning even stronger than before! The monsters will each have 5 abilities. A skillshot based ability. 3 unique abilities (with one of those being the ultimate) and a passive.

    Interested?

Experienced as I am with the WC3 editor, this knowlage seems insufficient when facing the Data- and Trigger Editor, which is why I am in need of the following:

A Trigger Memeber - One who is capable of creating the triggers I need down to the smallest of details. As an example of what I need of this member: Once a monster dies, a dialog will be shown to the owner of the dead monster with a 30 seconds countdown and 10 buttons. The first button will grant the player the opportunity to instantly revive his/her’s monster and the other 9 the opportunity to upgrade certain stats of the monster.

A Ability Member – One who is capable of creating custom abilities. As an example of what I need of this member: Attacks deals 15% of his ability power as additional damage. (Praytor’s passive ability)

A UI Member – One who is capable of customizing the default UI into something more fitting. As an example of what I need of this member: A status bar of the players monster will be shown in the upper left corner of the screen, showing the monsters health, energy and number of lives. Kind of as it is seen in the HotS campaign.

What is your role in this?!

I’ve never been able to create custom abilities, my mind was blown by new trigger editor and I’ve never worked with UI before, which is why I need the kind of people who knows this. I’ll be the guide, the 2D artist and terrain member for this project. I will gladly take in any ideas you might have, but I have a clear vision of what the project is going to look like and that is something I won’t change. If you got the skills I require and wish to join me in this project, post here or send me a message and we’ll talk.

Well I woulden't mind. However the quality would not be the same. Is there another program which would be able to do it?

posted a message on Imported models lose their effects

I am currently importing some wow models into my map and I suddenly came to notice that something was changed. Upon closer inspection I discovered that the import process made them lose their model effects. Taking the molten giant as an example. In the modelviewer it has these nice flames comming up from the craks in it's skin and lava dripping from it's hands. But once imported to SC2 these effects are lost. Is there any way to keep them?

    - If this is the wrong forum to post this in, paradon me. But I wheren't able to find a better suited one.
