Very good map, but I don't think it is anywhere near as intimidating or hard on new players as you say, after 1 or 2 games, a player will have a good idea of what to do.
Does anyone know how I would have a day/night cycle in my map, where, as time goes on, it gets darker, and then hits midnight, and then starts to get brighter, and so on?
Well, the problem is that if you want to change the colour of the missile, you can't because War Pigs don't shoot missiles, it's instant damage effect, no missile involved.
Are you talking about the War Pig's rifle as an actual thing you can change the colour of?
Do any of you know how to create a weapon that will bomb an area in a line, i've tried something like this already and it's pretty buggy, one unit sometimes gets hit by two bombs, and it will only bomb units that are there, but I want it to bomb terrain even if there are no units after it hits the first unit.
For example. I have 3 buildings - "Armour Industry", "Weapon Industry", "Engine Industry". Building an engine industry, for example, would increase speed of all units by 5%. If I build it again, bonus to units would become 10%. Also, I would make the price of the buildings increase exponentially, 1 engine industry costs 100 minerals, the next 200, 400, etc, but it wouldn't affect the other industry types so specialising in one industry would cost alot.

Unit, upgrade and building design, if you keep it simple, is the simplest thing someone can do. So you should not need another person for that.

In Warcraft 3, I would take the kaboom ability, but in this, I can't find something like that, because baneling does not damage when it dies.

Why not create a weapon that can fire whenever it's moving (use a turret with a short arc), but make its range melee?

I'm (perfectly?) sure you can use a requirement, to stop the player from building/creating/spawning more than three mines.

Instead of changing the unit's actor, change the weapon's actor instead, such as "Weapon - Punisher Grenades" (that's a weapon unit).

messing with the accumulating research cost is buggy, it's so slow and freezes for about 10 seconds when changing the values for it

I don't understand you "it's a tab" ? a tab? of what? triggers? Why make the tab decrease production time? (What do you mean here?)
