Not really sure what could cause this, but the two things I'd look into would be a) the standard test map for your UI mod and b) if theres any problem with local vs. bnet dependencies...
Magicide is pretty good, but even with all the possible combinations its kinda lacking different player roles. The only strong build is basically full damage spells, with maybe an ice archon to slow down the enemy. Summoners can work, but 99% of the time they dont.
What I'm saying is, why do you only have damage and summoning spells? What about movement control (blink or stun), healing and protection based spells?
When I saw the hearts I first thought it'd be a zelda clone, only with a zergling....WHICH WOULD BE AMAZING... But I guess a side-scroller is cool, too. :P
thanks to several factors I have found myself with a lot more freetime recently. So I will pick up where I left: Testing.
Currently the map's first 10-15 hours of playtime are pretty much done and 95% bugfree. The goal is now to improve the grade of polishing and possibly improve the gameplay slightly to increase the fun.
So I invite both mappers and players to join me for testing! If you're interested in this map, leave a post here or fel free to Pm me!

Wow, so much for "the custom map experience is number 1 priority"... ;)
Other games manage to establish working connections, now I really wonder what the problem might be. I still think, even after all Blizzard has done in the last month, that they are a capable and professional company. So I wonder whats keeping them from fixing these disconnects. I guess if there wouldn't be some serious issue they would have done it.

So I was happily scripting, not paying much attention. Maybe I pressed some weird hotkey combination by accident, but I don't think so.
Suddenly, I couldn't make any triggers/action def. functions, anything. Buttons disabled, hotkeys disabled, cant even copy and paste objects.
What the hell happened? Have I hit the maximum of trigger elements?

Regarding the control group. I'd actually like to disable it completely but I haven't found the right trigger quite yet...

Simplified the UI, removed/moved a few things and added connections between UI elements. :-)

Something that looks good - but is a little more complicated - is to apply a force effect on the unit which pushes it away from the forbidden area.

Seriously, whenever I test my map the very first game I get kicked right at the start. After that its all fine, so I dare to say that its not my map.
Anyone else experienced anything similar? =/
