Ok so i've duplicated the nova snipe ability its actors and effect and such renamed and placed everything to target unit/point instead of unit, that worked however it no longer does damage unless you target a unit, targeting the ground behind the unit works visually but nothing actually happens to the unit it goes through.

Ok so all i need is a letter "G" in the font of the old Unreal championship U-Damage "U" that spins in a circle. Thats the only animation i need it to do but if you want to throw something else in there that looks good thats cool.
I also need it to be purple like the unreal U too.

I just wanted to make a post in here incase any terrainers are looking for something to do and dont check the team threads, If this violates any rules i apologize and understand if its deleted.
I'm currently in need of a terrainer 5 weeks ago lol. I may be losing internet soon and i want to get a beta of my map out atleast but im just not a terraining type of person.. i mess around here and there but nothing special. More extensive information can be found at this thread on the forums.
Again if this type of post is not allowed here my bad i didn't know and i understand if its removed. Thanks in advance for anyone that checks it out.

Ok so here's the low down, I've been working on my first map to be released. I've also been running out of time to work on it hardcore rightnow and i need some people to help me to get it released as soon as i can for a beta atleast, I really need someone for terraining the map's physical terrain is pretty set in stone, although. I'm going to provide a video later on in the post showing the map as of now to you. Any other information can be seen below or in a pm to me. :) (I will be editing this post so if this is all you see than please bare with me I'm quite busy xD).
Port: Ghost Zone
Ghost zone is a game i just wanted to make and play, I'm an old-school Unreal Championship die-hard fan lol. I just wanted something like that to play with other people. It has its own play style clearly because its made on the SC2 engine but i think I've implemented the old UC style into it (I feel i have anyway), It's a fast paced skill shot game, There are two modes, maybe three coming, with many options for players, Including Instagib, 1 flag or 2 flags, match durations ect.

There are also unique ability's to the map, Including each "Weapon" it is entirely ability based. There's color coded blink abilitys for each team. seen below

Why so many pictures?
Well i want whoever joins to know the weapons and how they work, The weapons are all ability's and they suicide on pathing meaning people cant shoot into doodads or no pathing zones so i need subtle changes but effective changes

This is my first editor and to be honest my area is triggers lol.. I'm not a pro, ive done some terraining myself and will change things if i dont like them but I know when I'm defeated you guys on this site are pro's and i respect that and accept limitations. Frankly i would also just like people to be apart of the game. It needs more input.
Team PGZ stands for Team "Port: Ghost Zone" Which is the name of the map. Currently all i need is someone to pretty up my terrain, I have two maps one for either game mode and tons of options for the game but nothing that should effect cosmetics in the game, Other than the day/night transition that is in effect.
So as of now anyone that would be added to the team would just be working strictly on the cosmetic's of the map on both maps.
You will be fully accredited in the map for the work you put forth in the effort to get a beta out there for people to enjoy and critique.
If you would like to put a hand in please either comment here with some work previews or pm me some. I'll try my best to get back to everyone asap and any help is appreciated.

ive imported a few custom wav files and im trying to get them to play threw a "Play sound at unit" action but i cant find them in the list, i also tried turning them to OGG files instead of WAV and still couldnt find them, is there something i need to do to find them?

the only thing i can make it do is hit unit/point but not one or the other, meaning if i use the ability on a unit thats moving and they dont move out of range enough but moves out of the way of the shot, it hits the ground visually but also deals damage to the unit even if it visually doesnt.
My question is, Is there a way to make it hit a target point, and if a unit is in the way of that point make it hit the unit instead?
Im not great with ability's but ive tried to follow a few different tut's like fireballs or similar things of the sort using missiles but i cant ever get them to work like a sniper, i use a sniper mover i made thats pretty much the same as the railgun sniper mover...but the mover isnt the problem its the attachments, even though i leave it on weapon00 center it still shoots from my units foot, any help getting me in the right direction for making a sniper shot like ability would be awesome and appreciated.

yea moving the region will fire the event if there's a unit in it, said unit will technically leave the region. even though in reality the region is leaving the unit.

ok so i have a leaderboard in my map the code for it is this

But when i go to test it online, with a computer AI added to the game, It only shows me, there is an empty row where the computer player should so up but nothing is in it. not even the 0's under kill and cap. Can anyone help me figure out why?
I tested earlier with a friend but at the time i had the row codes put into a "picked player" action under two team functions, I set players on team one to a global group same with team two which i thought was the problem but even with it as above i still cant get it to work.

well your map has clarified my worst fear! lol.. its my custom UI hidding my timer windows, as well as my leaderboard i just spent hours on xD lol.. and the movement of my map requires the bottom of the screen to be clear, so i need to find out what in my ui is causing the loss of leaderboards and timers if not just the fact that im using a custom ui file.
Edit: nvm my map works fine with the regular ui in tact, Thanks alot for the help :)
