Very beautiful map with a tropical feel. I'd add some detail to the water though. Like plants or corals.

Be sure to have the correct mover for the unit you created. It should be set to the default 'Ground' mover.

    THREAD UPDATED 01/17/2012

    REX Arena

FROM THE CREATOR OF AMIRA TOWER DEFENCE

    Gameplay
HEAT is a fastpaced 4 player FFA arena, with the objective to kill your opponents as many times as you can. The player with the most kills when the time runs out, wins the game. There is minimal respawn time, and you get a random unit, at a random respawn point, every time. Each unit has its own unique mechanics and playstyle.

    Arenas
HEAT has a total of 4 arenas. All of them has its own atmosphere and layout. At map start, a random arena is picked, and the players will fight for victory in the chosen arena, until the time runs out. Screenshots of the arenas can be found at the bottom of the thread.

    Rank & Rating
    Rank

Each player has his own rank. Depending on the result of the played match, players may increase or decrease in rank. The winning player gains 2 rank, the second best gains 1 rank, the third best player's rank stay the same, and the last player decreases in rank by 1. A player's rank is displayed in the leaderboard, above the player's unit, and in the final scorescreen. The maximum rank to reach is currently 30.

    Rating

All players have an individual rating. Players gain rating by completing various achievments. This rating has no impact on the game, but is displayed in the final scorescreen. Reaching higher ratings will eventually unlock visual upgrades.

    Units
I am open to name suggestions for abilties.

HEAT features 4 units, each with their own abilities and playstyle. Units are given randomly to players, so you will get to know all 4 units in your first game. The unit you recieve is not completely random. You will not get i.e. a baneling, if there are already two banelings alive, and the chance to get the unit you recieved last time is lower than usual. This is done to give all players the best possible experience.

    Predator

The predator features high burst damage and mobility. Excels at getting in and out of fights in no time.

    [Q] Robotic Quake Cooldown: 3 5

    Self Position; Enemy Units
Stomps the ground, causing a quake, which deals 25 damage to enemies in a range of 2. If augmented by Overheat, targets hit will be slowed by 40% for 1 second.

    [W] Elusive Combat Cooldown: 3 4

    Facing; Enemy Units
Rapidly jumps forth your current facing, When landed, Robotic Quake is cast for free, dealing 25 damage to enemies in a range of 2. If augmented by Overheat, targets hit will be slowed by 40% for 1 second.

    [E] Overheat Cooldown: 3 12

    Self Position; Buff
Instantly refreshes the cooldown of Robotic Quake, allowing you to use it again. Augments your next cast of Robotic Quake or Elusive Combat, making it slow its targets by 40% for 1 second.

    Baneling

The baneling can stay in fights for longer than any other unit. Its slow and regeneration greatly improves survivability, while its explosive slime deals massive damage.

    [Q] Taunt of Corruption Cooldown: 5 5

    Self Position; Enemy Units
Taunts all units in a range of 3, slowing them for 75% for 2 seconds.

    [W]Explosive Slime Cooldown: 1 1

    Self Position; Enemy Units
Drops a pile of slime behind you. The pile explodes 1.5 seconds after it is dropped, dealing 30 damage to enemies in a radius of 1.5.

    Explosive Slime Passive

    Self Position; Enemy Units
Upon death, deals 30 damage to all enemies in a radius of 1.5. While alive, regeneration rate is doubled.

    Reaper

The reaper excels at hunting and evasion. Its high mobility and damage makes it rule the battlefield.

    [Q] Rocket Launcher Cooldown: 1 1

    Facing; Enemy Units
Shoots a rocket at full force in a straight line, dealing 20 damage to all enemies hit.

    [W] Stealth Cooldown: 5 5

    Self Position; Buff
Stealths, becoming invisible to enemies for 1 second. Abilities remain usable while stealthed, and movementspeed is increased by 50%.

    [E] Acid Drone Cooldown: 8 8

    Self Position; Spawn
Sets up a flying drone above you, which deals 10 damage every second to enemies in a range of 4. Lasts for 5 seconds.

    Sentry

The sentry has a strong ability synergy, which can be used both defensively and offensively.

    [Q] Psi Storm Cooldown: 3 3

    Self Position; Enemy Units
Releases electric energies around you, which deals 40 damage to enemies caught inside.

    [W] Force Field Cooldown: 4 4

    Facing; Spawn
Summons an unpathable force field in front of you, which lasts for 5 seconds.

    [E] Blink Cooldown: 4 4

    Facing; Teleport
Instantly blinks you 3 range towards your facing.

    Achievements
HEAT currently features more than 30 achievements, and as it is still under development, more achievements will be made before release. Completing an achievement, gains you rating. Reaching higher ratings will unlock visual upgrades for you to use. Depending on the achievement, either 10, 25, 40 or 80 rating will be given upon completion. Achievements can not be completed more than once.

posted a message on Enable Terrain

It is possible to show/hide terrain through triggers, so it should be possible to show/hide the terrain in the editor itself.
Although, if you only have triggers in the map, I would suggest you to move it to a different map. Triggers are easily moveable with copy/paste.
