    @Helral

    Since you cant use spaces in your name you used the letter 'L' as a seperation and actually saying: "Hé Ra". So the reason why you chose this name is to greet Ra.

    @Mozared: Well, like I said, triggering is not really a problem for me, I do see problems with making the units though, since I still dont have the Data Editor covered.

    @Eiviyn: Dont worry, it prolly will small question about how your body fight of different situations and which parts of the body are involved and what materials it needs.

    @EternalWraith: Guess you cant satisfie every1 ;). Every has his taste. I do realize that I should be carefull what deseases I use to make sure I dont offent any1 and to prevent I get a map-ban ;).

    @SoulCarveRR: I could deside that every player handles a different part of the system.

    @Nebruzias: Nice ava m8 :P

    And maybe you could make one with a Terran, Protoss and Zerg theme? Just an idea.

    Are we allowed to use them as Ava?

    posted a message on [Idea] Human imuune system TD/management

    Ok, I have this idea about a TD/management game based on the human body/immuune system.

    The veins will be the paths where units walk through, friendly (blood cells) as well as enemie (deceases), also there will be oxygen running towards your lungs.

    You prolly wonder what you have to do in this game. For example the lungs... ...the idea is that you build towers/units which will extract the oxygen and pass it to the red blood cell units, which will in their turn bring it to different buildings which represent organs or glants. The trick is to extract oxygen in a efficient way, cause oxygen which is not extracted is lost and might lead to lack of oxyden. An event might be that the human who's body you are controlling starts smoking which leads to less oxygen. By supplying this buildings with oxygen they will be able to produce different things to counter random events the game will throw at you, like a flew or something. So for example to be able to produce white bloodcells to fight of deceases you need to make sure you supply bone marrow with enough oxygen.

    I want to make the events and management parts as realistic as possible. So, I need to find out what materials (vitamines, food) a organ/glant needs to function.

    So, 2 questions to the community:

    1. Do you have any knowledge about the functioning of the human body, I could use your help.
    2. Have any nice ideas, post em.

    Beware, this is still in the idea stage. I will start to on it soon.

    The triggers and mapping (Although making it look very nice might) is not really a problem for me, I might need some help on the units.

    Plz keep this topic alive. Thanks :).

    I have a "job" for every1 interested.

    Im working on a TD map, but making the towers is kinda demotivating me atm since Im still learning using the Data-editor and not really getting anything done.

    Is any1 interested to make the towers for me based on the ideas I provide?

    Quote from nevjmac: Go

    your going to have to set your two leaderboards as different variables so you can refer to them seperatly?

    First of all, its 1 leaderboard, its just devided into 2 sections.

    Also been trying that, but it seems you cant save the different parts of a leaderboard in a different variable. Mysteries if the editor ;).

    I have devided a leaderboard into 2 groups. Now Im wondering how I set the header for the 2nd group on the leaderboard. The "Set leaderboard item text"-action lets you only set the header of the 1st group.

    Anyone an idea?

    posted a message on Gate collision

    As far as I could find you cant setup collisions for doodads, Im not sure though, so you should setup the unit collision. But I'll have a look into it again. Im starting to understand more and more about the data editor :).

    posted a message on Gate collision

    I've put a few gates in my map, but when they're closed units can still move through them. How can I make sure that when they gates are closed units can move through them either.

    posted a message on collision with own units and no collision with enemy units?

    Well, first of all, I dont know if you found out yet.

    But you can give units different collisions, the units with the same collision will collide with eachother and if the have different collision setting they wont.

    yay, I managed the get the Doodad in game :).

    Only thing is, I exported it with the wrong animation names, so I couldnt make the animations play through triggers yet, but thats just a matter of changing the animation names when exporting. Anyway, Im making progress.
