posted a message on Detecting units movement with triggers?

Probably a much easier and more efficient way of doing it but couldn't you store the position of the unit, then a second or so later check the co-ordinates between the stored position of the unit (old pos) and its current pos. If they are different you have movement :)?

Mind bringing it over to SEA. Not many custom maps down under so would have next to no competition :P

Game hasn't been out for that long and so it was no different in wc3 early days. So it could of been released to get up in popularity then over time import custom models instead of delaying it and there for getting lost down the bottom of the list.

Put the unit 'Vikingsky_unit' into your map for a nice looking skybox :). The doodad version doesn't work in game for me.

You will have to enable campaign in the dependencies to find it.

Thanks for the CC, my intention was to go with mountains but my hand had a mind of its own and flattened em back down to hills :P. My original idea was to base it around the picture below but sadly I strayed away.

Spent an hour or so whipping this up, not the best but my terraining moto is 'Trees fix everything" and I stayed true to that moto :).

well there is a really cheap way and that is using the 'Environment - add permanent creep' and to go back to the default texture 'Environment - remove permanent creep.

Then in the data editor, change the creep to a grass texture / map. Sure its tacky and only allows you to change to a single texture but using creep blockers you can create all sorts of things. (my one minute attempt at spelling 'taff' made it to small :(
