    As a co-creator on Frontline EU (Terrain mostly) I can say we used to think the same. But we just finished our map, and it's currently at position #4 and should hit #3 eventually by the looks of it.

    We didn't create anything awesome in my opinion, but there isn't really and end too it. Or not a easy to get one at-least...

    But PvP maps as mentioned above tend to go up easier, but it's hard too stand out above the others since 80% of the custom maps are crap PvP ones :/

    Even tho I've left the project sort off, I agree with the words of my fellow partner. This map took us days and days just planning and writing out stuff. We've created many theory ideas that didn't see daylight really.

    I'm glad you finished it in such a good state, we should play it sometime together really ;)

    Barely finding any spare time lately though, especially this week. And FYI I've done 80% of the map design if people need to know stuff on that just ask.

    PS : Hook me up on Skype sometime Nash ;)

    Yeah, I'm always lazy.
    Just wanted too point out a little thing I used for this one is, using Mara Sara Panels and cutting out the 'stuff' with just dirt. So it looks like doodads placed around the ground, but it's actually just terrain.

    Allot of great work has been posted in here, but I keep noticing allot of you over-do stuff. There's really no need to use such a amount of doodads and make stuff look heavy. Terrain should look just nice, but not fps heavy ! Then again, we can all do as we like :)

    Thanks for the feed-back ! I agree we could tweak a few visual effects. But as Nash stated, we just went for some basic stuff too start testing out things.

    As I already asked, if you know any great visual worth looking into please let us know right here :-)

    Oh and if anyone feels like it, we will most likely do some more testings tonight around 21.00-22.00 CET (GMT+1)

    Aha, I see Gold :-) I've noticed alot of people asking for custom icons on our mIRC a few times so you could help people out doing so really.
    And about a 'warm welcome', it was as warm as it gets. But as most have stated, I'm the biggest douchebag until you understand how wierd I am by nature !

    And RodrigoAlves you are a little bit fucked up in the head, that's why we all hate and love you at the same time I guess :P

    Hello everyone !

    Lately as Nash screen-shots have shown you, we been working (Nash been working) on our hero's !
    As you could most likely figure out yourself, the terrain being used for these is some very basics, purely created in our 'Data/Trigger' part of the project.
    But, seeing screen-shots aren't all that great we recorded a short video on testing our the Medic and Guardian hero's, as-well as balancing things out.

    We could always use more people for balancing out stuff, so if you are interested feel free too check up on us on our mirc channel, or leave a reply in this thread.. Also, we usually try to take advantage of mapnight on Fridays too get some people in !
