    I had another interesting map idea i thought ide throw on here as it would take a lot of triggers and data editer work and between having a babay on the way and college work i wouldnt have thte time to mess with it all but.

    I was thinking a cool concept would be like a free for all or team shooting game would be cool to have something kind of call of duty inspired almost, each player gets a basic marine, and they hunt down to kill enemy marines, getting a certain amount of minerals per kill and they can run back to their starting zone and purchase armor or weapon upgrades such as greneades differnt weapons, like flame throwers ghost rifles missle launchers, attribute increases, have a map designed with lots of cover to add in the need to use cover element.

    think a game like that would be pretty interesting to see in teh custom games

    I've been working on a Starcraft 2 Rendition of Footman Frenzy which ive seen a few of these type of games on but all very basic

    I'm hoping to add something to mine, by adding in basic unit leveling, Purchaseable abilities for your basic units such as sheilds range increases splash damage attack speed movment speed, and abilities that will do similar negative affects to enemy units. i'm also adding in buildings and units who have special abilites players may pay that unit or building to use, my main example is im going to have the purifier mother ship in the middle of the map, and with enough minerals you may have it use its plant cracker ability to fry everything in the middl of the map, but it will also kill friendlies so you and your allies will want to clear out another such ability will be the odins nuke or kerrigans razor storm, i had originally intended on using Kerrigan and Odin as heroes, but due to the power of both im turning them into merchants,

    After i was done wiht this map i had plans to immediately start working on my next Game, which is actually an idea i got from withint the story mode, in the early mar sara missions just after the mission you steal the first artifact there is a picture on the wall, of a couple guys with a dead Hydralisk and the picture was labeled Hydralisk Derby.

    So i got an idea like hey why not make a game called The Hydralisk Derby, i hadn't really spent much time on this idea so i don't really have much in the way of ideas for it, when i thought of it i quickly brain stormed a couple things and thought of making it similar to hero line wars tower defense combo but i wasnt in love with that idea and i thought maybe something like snipers was, do a map where there would be lots of cover for hydralisks to hide or burrow by, and have hydralisks of different sizes and each different size will vary in power and how many points they are worth and highest points after the time limit ends wins and maybe add in like 2 or 3 rounds or something. this idea i don't mind passing on to somebody else to make

    I'm always coming up with ideas for games so ill start posting some on here for people if they want to try and make em

    and any additional ideas i can get to add to my Marine Frenzy game would certainly be welcome i can add in a post about it including all the features and units and everything it has

    I have been working on Making a SC2 Version of footman frenzy for a while now and am almost done with my map but i'm hitting more and more issues the further i get

    i need to make it so the barracks each player starts out with can be upgraded to a Command Center, Hatchery ,or a Nexus I've already tried making new abilities and even triend changing around certain parts of pre existing abilities, and i always run into the problem where i can't apply them to the building

    am i doing something wrong with the abilities? or is there just no way to make a building morph into something blizzard hasnt set it to morph into?

    posted a message on Issues with Veterancy Behaviors

    I have been trying to figure this out for days i have even started my map over twice now to see if it helps but i cant get my veterancy behavior to allow units to level up Appear in the list of behaviors to apply it to my units,

    i've followed every tutorial i could find and they all say the same thing and i havent found anything about how to deal with this issue so im posting about it for anybody else who is having the same issues

    if anybody can help me figure this out please respond like asap, this is the last thing i need to make my map get up and running

    i'm still waiting for your tutoial to load, but this came to mind while i was waiting, yu know of a way to make it so it sells abilities instead of items too,

    i'm working on a custom game similar to the old Footman Frenzy from wc3 but with a few major changes to it and one of them is 2 different kinds of shops 1 that sells you several different abilities for all your units to benefit from, and another is a building that also sells abilities but instead of it actually like selling abilities for your unit is sells its abilities use to the player like if you walked up to a protoss mothership and paid it to use a mass recall that pulls in all enemy units to the center of the map something like that?

    I am looking to make a structure or unit that can sell abilities similar to a merc compound from wc3 that sold units i already have a link on how to make the structurea neutral shop i was just curious if there was a way to make it sell abilities so all my units can have the abilities i purchase like for example train the passive sheild that immortals have for all units i own say it be marines zealots or hydralisks.

    also im looking to make an structure more specifically a unit such as like a protoss mothership that sits stationary in the center of the map a neytral shop also but the difference is that this one instead of selling anything you pay the mineral cost and it uses its abilites, like a mass recall that pulls every players units to the center of the map, or any kind of ability i've given it
